Default Afraid to leave Neutral/Negative Feedback?

This is something that has been bothering me lately. You may recall a recent thread I started about a certain member here. Well, I left appropriate FB, but it seems as if others are afraid to do the same. One person I spoke with didn't want to leave a Negative because they are afraid of getting a Negative in return.

Why are people so afraid of leaving Neutral or Negative FB?
To those people who are afraid: How do you justify not leaving appropriate FB to help warn others of someone they may want to avoid doing a deal with? Do you really want others to have to deal with the same crap you had to? How is leaving no FB doing any good?

Because of the hassle. But as long as they PM a mod, have the deal specifics saved and don't like a jack a$$, it should be taken care of.

Some people would consider that a hassle as well.

1.) Small to zero "nads".

2.) As long as they get deal done and they are themselves taken care of, no concern for the next person. All about me me me.

3.) "Hassle" is just an excuse for above.

Bottomline is...........if you have done nothing wrong, a retaliatory NEG by other party just puts them one step closer to banishment. In the case of you doing nothing wrong......contact the MODS, and chances are it will be taken care of

I just left a neutral on a deal I had. I am not afraid to leave a neg/neutral if it is justified. Members need to leave negs/neutrals so it can warn other members and what to expect of they do indeed continue to deal with the member.

People are also afraid of leaving positive feedback.

Dave, you know you are preaching to the choir with me but you are fighting an uphill battle with a lot of others. The whiny, entitled, PC generation is not going to change. They are about me, me , me and more me. You and I don't even matter unless we are offending them which is often. :special2:

won't a retaliation feedback get you a short vaca anyway? if proper feedback isn't left then you get threads that pop back up from the grave exactly a year later because of feedback babies. pay jon a couple of cape cod cranberry ales to do the deal and then he can be the one leaving the feedback.

IMO, members on here are pretty chill. there's the few members that like to freak out and act like babies but if you get a negative feedback on BO, you must've really screwed up! i've left two negatives on this site. the first was a member who sold me a basketball lot for $70 then disappeared for 3 months. i filed a paypal claim after a couple weeks and didn't hear back from the guy for another two months or so. he fed me some story about this and that, then said he mailed me the original lot which to no surprise, never arrived. the second was a guy who sold me a chandler parsons rc auto lot. parsons had a couple 30 point games right after and sure enough, the cards never arrived. lol....just funny how someone would wreck their reputation over $10. still baffles me.
