Default I know nothing about comics, some ?

Ok some possible long answers. Anyway, what are, what types, the best comics to collect. I'm thinking about getting into it. I know for example the first issues of a certain character. So how about a list of those please. Since those are the best I believe. THANKS!

You should buy as MANY copies of books form the 1990s as possible.

What you are asking has a no simple answer. I suggest starting here.... Another thing if you are going to start collecting for pure profit. This is the wrong hobby to get into.

Is this a serious post? It's like asking on the sports card forums to list all the HOF RC's just so I don't have to google it. There are tons of sites out there with that info just like this one which isn't that great since it's non sortable but you get the idea

Buy what you like. <<

Same with any collectible.
Do not chase what's hot (& you're clueless about) cause you'll most often miss the boat, & not enjoy what you have.
I've bought what i like to find out later, it's actually desirable.

Also, i imagine you'll have better luck buying something new (like southern Bastards) & watching it grow,
rather than buying a 1st appearance that's already $100, and hoping for it to double.
