Default General Question about the price of cards

Quick question for any who have the answer
Whats the typical markup for a distributor on a case of cards being sold pre-sell by anyone of the big online chains? If BO, DA, BigT, ect. is preselling a case of cards for $1000, what does that mean they got it for direct? I'm just wondering how much $ is being made off all my pre-orders by big companies. (don't mean to ruffle feathers or rehash old topics, just curious) I know answers vary based on product, market, ect. I was just looking for a standard markup percentage from the manufacturer to one of the big boys? Thanks

haha, good question, see who are really making money from this hobby.
In all fairness shops would need at least a 30% mark up or Panini sell on consignment or give 90 days to pay.
So, shops pays $750 and adds 33% and sells for $1000
I've worked at places where 60% was standard.
Shops have to make money.
