What a night of softball, we had scores of 24-4, 21-1, 22-1, and 37-0. The 37-0 game was the law enforcement team that everybody loves beating up on. They have no resorted to threatening to write down tag numbers of cars in the parking lot that smell like weed.

We almost got in a fist fight with some piece of crap teenage boys and girls. Me and baby daddy/finance were ready to go.

After dinner, they and my wife joined my son and I at the pool. We had the baby in the pool and there were a group of teenagers throwing a football around in the pool. Granted, the sign less than 10 feet away says no balls in the pool. They threw the football and almost hit the baby and went right over baby daddy's head. My wife exploded on them before he could. They started talking trash and my wife continued to go off on them. I was fully prepared to fire that ball out of the pool area and onto the beach if it happened again. Baby daddy was ready to kick their butts.

This afternoon the DM calls me just to find out if I was feeling any better than when she saw me on Tuesday.

We ended up talking over 20 minutes about business and personal. She wants a picture of the Raleigh show. Apparently the visit the Regional Manager had at the evil one's store Tuesday did not go very well. Color me not surprised. For obvious reasons, she did not go into any detail. I am now convinced she has bigger plans for me when I get back to town in 2 1/2 weeks. She wanted my opinion of someone I have worked with the last 2 evenings. She wanted to know if he is capable of replacing the furniture lead that quit in my store last weekend. My manager wanted the same information. I think I will be working with him when I get back.
