What if I just buy an inscription and have him inscribe his autograph? That seems a bit steep for someone with a few decades of probable signings and show appearances ahead of them. Wow.

You can get his card autos for less than those ridiculous price points. I've always found it absurd how much some athletes charge at actual signings compared to card prices.

If this is through his new exclusive autograph deal, there won't be much of a change for the near future and people will still pony it up

I can see people over paying for an auto so they get to meet their favorite player. But not through the mail. Not including the price of the blank item what you would pay for his graph ends up being worth 1/2 on the market. 69.99 for a ball + 499 for the sig = a $250 item.

This is true and while I agree, there will still be tons of people who will pay it anyway, don't ask me why... He's one of the few who can write their own ticket since he's making a strong case for GOAT at age 31.

His prices have certainly gone up. He is gaining on Brady now.

lol@$599 for a full sized helmet. There are some steiner FS that have sold on the bay for $300 including an inscription! So you pay $125 for the helmet, $600 for the signature, $200 for the inscription. So you pay $925 for something you can get for $300 and you dont even get to meet him. The stupidity of some people amazes me.

Yep, this is through Fanatics. He just signed a 3-year deal with them, so it'll be the going rate for the foreseeable future. If you think these are high prices, wait until you see what Fanatics charges on their site for the actual autographed items after the signing...

It's pricey, but I might finally get my championship belt signed.

Sounds about right. He is on pace to be one of the best QBs to ever play the game. His time is worth more money now than it was 5 years ago. Eventually he will surpass Tom Brady pricing levels. This is expected.

Imagine Rodgers numbers if he wouldn't have had to wait 3 years to start? Simply mind bottling.

I've said it a million times before but Rodgers is the best QB I have ever seen personally play the game of Football. I've seen alot of them.... Montana, Marino, Elway, Manning, Brady, etc. Give me Rodgers any day of the week.

How can you say it sounds right when you can buy authentic signed versions of all of this stuff for 1/2 the price right now? Again this is all through the mail so there is no additional value of meeting him. Whats right about the pricing in your eyes?

Aaron Rodgers' time and schedule is most likely not dictated by Ebay values of items. If he takes an hour to sign requests every day, that time has a value, and most likely that is why the pricing is what it is.

Also you are paying for a guaranteed item. Do you know for 100% certain the items you see on Ebay are authentic?

Most agree that Rodgers sitting for 3 years behind Favre was the best thing for Rodgers career.

I mean it's all what if's, but if Rodgers would've played right away he may of crashed and burned. I mean we just don't know.

Rodgers sitting behind Favre was the best thing to happen to Rodgers. He was not ready to be an NFL QB (one name... Jeff Tedford).

McCarthy had to work the Tedford out of him. Anyone watching his early preseason stuff saw that he had issues coming out of college.

Favre hanging on just long enough was very good.

Valid points but i'm sure we can all agree that Favre wasn't very helpful to Rodgers in terms of tutelage. He made it abundantly clear that he wasn't there to teach someone how to play QB. Rodgers probably learned alot by watching Favre play though. I won't dispute that.

Not at all.

I laugh when I hear people say that Rodgers learned from Favre. Maybe from watching, but Favre wanted nothing to do with teaching Rodgers anything.

He might have been better off for that anyhow.

Those prices are insane. Not even A+ list actors get that kinda cash for a signature, including Harrison Ford. Only way I might pay that kinda scratch for an autograph by mail in, is if the Ghostbusters managed to resurrect Walter Payton for a day.

No one is talking about in person autographs on eBay. Mounted Memories signed mini's sell for $150 on there. They are the company that is hosting this signing as well so I would say yeah its just as authentic as sending my item in to them in the mail. I'm sure he doesnt care but whoever set up the pricing might care if they get stuck with inventory afterwards that they cant move on their website if they have this much invested in the signing.

I could either buy a MM certified signed mini from their website for $600 or buy the exact same one on eBay with their COA for $150. HHmmm...

You want to put a value on his time and say that equals these prices? Alright I'll bite.

Say he just signs 100 of each from this list of 6 categories. That's just over 600 signatures. Obviously there will be handlers there to hand him things. Its not like he will be opening up boxes, signing items and repacking them.

4 signatures per minute (very generous as I have done signings before) he will be done in just over 2 hours. That's $304,400 provided not a single person pays for an inscription or over $150K per hour. Say he splits that 50-50% with MM (who still paid him up front I'm sure for the contract as well) and you are looking at $150K to get picked up and taken to a meeting room somewhere near him I'd bet. That's time he might have spent sitting on his couch.

Total time invested by Aaron 3 hours from door to door. Paycheck after signing $150K at least. You cant assume he will be signing items every day like you stated. They will gather everything up and bring it to him on one day.

Mounted Memories pays the handlers and I already figured on a 50% cut in my math. If you dont get it thats your problem. So far you are the ONLY person that said this pricing seems right.

I dont care if President Obama tells me his time is worth $100k to sign my picture. That doesnt mean Id have a picture worth $100k.
