those retro rookie autos look nice, actually like the overall design, bout time UD switched SPA up a little

Don't know why the patches are so small on the RAPs, considering they are just event worn at the Premiere and not actual college GU jerseys. There seems to be too much whitespace in the design for those.

They should have bought some more jerseys (and loaded them with non-authentic patches like they did for Tebow) for the players to wear for a few minutes.

There are a few nice designs, the a lot of the cards look like something you'd pull from Press Pass. Maybe UD laid off some of their designers. Definitely a step down.

But the UD lovers *coughgellmancough* will eat this stuff up like good soldiers

I agree, the RAPs are too small. They needed to do a better job on this.

The Reto Rookie cards looking pretty good. They should be a hit and bring some coin.

What a bad year for Upper deck to put out such a nice looking design for Authentic.The patches are a little small but the cards bring a nice look of class!

If you were wondering if this spa is a step down from previous years the answer is simple - no. Still the same spa. Didn't like the sticker autos (on SOTT and Chirography) but the hot boxes (there were 4) make up for it. The patches are smaller but they actually look very good - makes the auto's stand out more. The college uniforms are very refreshing. Anyway, enjoy the scans. Not a killer break, but solid enough. Most on ebay tonight. The regular rookies out of 999 (41 different) are going to COMC unless someone wants them (listed in For Sale thread for $100 insured shipping).
