eTopps was real cards, but most were kept/traded/sold online. I'm curious if there's a cap number on these, or if they just sell as many as they can.

Ok, so obviously an attempt to make even more money, but I have to say... I don't hate the idea. If Mookie Betts hits for a cycle or something, I will definitely buy a few the next day.

Yes, I'm aware of this.

I just added 551 lots of 20 cards at $79.99 per lot, totalling $44,074.49.

So, I added over 11,000 cards. I think they'll print to order.

Cards will print on demand and print runs to be released after 24 hour period closes

I believe they did the same with presidential cards, sold around 300 of each or so, didn't cap it, don't expect a limit here but not sure how many they'd sell...the Royals card may be a big seller though.

More than I thought.

After a 24-hour sale, the Garbage Pail Kids New Hampshire Primary set has come to a close. GPK and political fans from all walks of life found themselves purchasing these exclusive cards from Topps.com.

As Topps promised, here are the print runs for the Garbage Pail Kids New Hampshire Primary cards:

Donald Trump: 758
Hilary Clinton: 729
Bernie Sanders: 722
Ted Cruz: 712
Chris Christie: 703
John Kasich: 699
Ben Carson: 698
Marco Rubio: 697
Jeb Bush: 696

Can I short this investment? Heh... Would be funny if someone actually placed an order like this.

Playing with the numbers, I got a nastygram stating that the max quantity I can order is 10,000 units of 20 cards. 200,000 cards. $799,900.

These seem rare and limited.

2 cards a day x 162 games @$9.99 per card = a crap ton of cash to spend on the season set

$10 for a gimmick base card?

I figure if a player does something really news-worthy, there will be a card commemorating the event in the following year's Topps set anyways. Likely with a relic, auto or manu-patch.

Further thoughts...maybe if these were limited to 100 copies, or were chromed, or die-cut....or ANYTHING other than a plain base card I can see more appeal.

Kind of neat I guess since they can make cards about current MLB events quickly. I think mouschi brought something up like this last season with the Bautista bat flip, like what if Topps had a card of it out that week or the next day.

According to them, they're only available for 24 hours. But if this succeeds (LOL), they'll be available for a lot longer.

This reminds me of buying prints of someone's Photobucket images.

The "creative geniuses" at Topps are working hard at creating new markets and revenue streams... seems they have little faith in their core business.

Just hope they don't treat it like their card trading apps.

Base card available daily for $9.99. Chrome card available at the end of the week but ONLY if you bought every card leading up to it! Otherwise you can buy a "bundle" for $99.99 to get the limited chrome!

Don't forget the wall art versions with the same parallels at 3 times the price of the base!

I wonder if they'll be able to hit their 3-5 day shipping window. That seems like a pretty quick turn around to design, produce and get the cards ready for shipment.

I don't see this as a bad thing. Sorry, but id rather have a card with meaning then just some random base card. On top of that, print to order for a 24 hr period. If they stick to that and don't reprint will keep some of this stuff really limited. Imagine those legit MLB debut cards.

The ones that used to sell out when they were $6-8 and limited to 8500 on eTopps?

You think these are going to be limited, at $4 a card (in quantity) for debuts?

I think it would be pretty cool to commemorate a visit to the ball park. We only go to three or four games a year, to have a nice card from those games to display with the tickets and such would be cool.
