Default Don't leave your autos in the light/sun, fellas.

This card never pops up either.

:-(
I have seen whole collections where each auto is faded.
I did this once and learned my lesson.

The number of super high end autos I've seen ruined by this manner makes me sick to my stomach. Here's one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2007-08-Exqu...wAAOSw1~JZN4kt

I'll admit to being a victim, and have several autos in this condition or worse. When I first started had no idea of the damage that could be done so quickly. Now my autos are in dark dungeon-like storage

I can understand and appreciate the desire to display collections, but man, some of these things have been ruined by direct light.

me personally, I don't leave any cards out in the open. They have zero sunlight or room light hitting them.

This might be a stupid question but do one touches not protect the cards from light? It says they do right on the package. Most cards nowadays are signed with blue ink instead of black. I haven't seen too many blue autos fading but maybe we will see it more once the blue autos have been around for years.

Same here... it was like they strategically placed the case beneath the sun so they could be beaten down on

One store in Texas scanned and cut out the photo and laid it on top of the card so it was protected but you could still see what the card looked like.

Uhh what a big, big waste to such an iconic card, iconic to me at least. The seller mentioned that the Kobe autograph is still sharp, but as can been seen from the picture, it has visibly, if not severely, discolored - the ink is supposed to be in blue color.
