I don't follow him, so this is just a question. Is he really as bad as his stat line this year? What's up with him? Just saw his stat line in a boxscore, was kinda blown away

He's not been good at all but I seem to remember reading somewhere that his BaBIP is uncommonly low meaning at least some of his poor play may be attributed to bad luck

/thread. But to expand, BABIP is at .228, which is way below his career number. Maybe he has a down year, but he'll get back at it.

This is going to be chalked up as a down year for Manny. He'll definitely improve this season but not to the point where he ends up having one of his normal/expected seasons.

It's been really difficult watching him lately. Basically the entire Orioles line up other than Schoop and Beef Welington are struggling though. And sometimes Mancini.

Does this affect his card prices? I know people are in high on him. Will prices drop or do people have too much $ in him and keep the prices high?

Hoz started off the year in similar fashion. He was hitting less than .200 with a BABIP to match. Now's he's at .300. Manny will be just fine as the season progresses.
