If you're talking about right now, it's definitely Aaron Judge. But overall I don't think there's just one face. Trout, Harper, Posey, Judge, Correa, Bryant...an argument could be made for any of those guys.

Today: Judge
If Judge keeps it up for 10+ years, still Judge.
If he doesn't: Harper or Trout

Too many guys...

Harper is at times. Judge is right now. Bryant was last year. Lindor was in April (look at some of the articles actually written back then about him).

Baseball has so many ups and downs for the casual fans that it's hard to have a "singular face" because of the way the game is played. It's not like watching LeBron or Durant drop 30 points night after night. The consistency of baseball changes so much.

Which isn't a bad thing. Baseball just needs to get multiples guys faces out there.

This is still Trout's league. Until Judge does this for 4-5 years like Trout has done, then it's Trout's league IMO. Right now, Judge is just a flash in the pan, the latest spur of the moment Mr. Popular.

There is a difference though between consistency (which I agree with) and the "face of the game"

Judge is a monster sized person. Judge plays in NYC. Judge has the physical attributes to make him marketable.

Trout? 90% of random people wouldn't know who he was if they were sitting next to him on the bus.

That's why Baseball needs to start getting these guys out there.

Fox asked Harper this type of question during the All-Star game, live while he was playing RF. He said there's 20 guys you could say. He's right. We are in a youth movement of baseball, with multiple players who will have crazy stats accumulated in the next 15 years.

Judge is certainly the most popular right now, but I think it's still Trout. He is the "modern day Mickey Mantle" and his awards / stats are unparalleled.

Many faces, not just one. Game is in good shape - but even with that nobody really cares about baseball. NBA and NFL rule and always will

It appears most Trout voters are silent but I would agree that baseball doesn't really have face. Judge is for the moment, Harper has been during his MVP season, KB saw some vast spotlight, Trout has also had his moments in the sun. Almost seems to rotate monthly.

Better question, does baseball need a singular face? If so, who's the face of the NBA? One could argue Lebron as easily as Steph or even a Harden, Westbrook, etc. I don't think baseball needs a face when you have soo many guys at elite levels of play.

at this point in time its judge he is the mlb golden boy and if he hits 50+ this year that will continue through the offseason and into next year.

surprised by the poll trout may be the best player but average fans may not, and non fans wouldnt know who he is.
