Default What was the first auto you ever pulled?

Mine was a 2000 Topps Josh Girdley.

Yours?

collected from 85-94 as a kid-teen then jumped back in in 2006. Bought a hobby box of Bowman and pulled a Yunel Escobar Signs of the Future Sticker auto. He played down the street from me in AAA RIchmond and was the top of all of the leaderboards that summer. I was hooked.

1992 Fleer Roger Clemens Auto. Pulled from a single pack that a buddy of mine gave me at my 11th birthday party. Might as well have hit the Powerball jackpot.

Marcus Nash out of 1999 Fleer Skybox Premium. I was sitting by myself at the kitchen table and started jumping up and down. Man, those days are long gone now.

1991 Score Franchise Mantle/Musial/Yaz triple auto. Second one was the 1993 Skybox Bird/Magic dual. Been downhill since then....

Never pulled any ink until 1997 Bowman, which were 1 per 4 boxes, not super rare. Can't recall who it was.

1991-92 Upper Deck Jerry West. First baseball auto was 1992 Fleer Roger Clemens, but it was a setup.

1992 Classic Four Sport Dan Serafini. It's weird how that card has stuck in my mind all these years. I actually still own it. I suppose I'm subconsciously sentimental about it. Either that, or the fact that it's not worth anything.

Collected in the mid 90's when the craze was die cuts and platinum Medallions. Then bought a box in 05, first time back into it, Throwback Threads, and got a Tony Gwynn and Carlos Lee auto.....

Since then, no more boxes, just purchases.....and my collection has grown from nothing to where it is now since 05

1999 Fleer Autographics Dee Brown. I saved up 4 Weeks allowance to buy two blasters at Kmart. I had never pulled a GU/AU before. I pulled the Brown in the first blaster, pulled my first GU...a Bob Gibson patch in the second.
