Default 2017 Pop Century Daisy Ridley = Waxworks Dummy ??!!

So I've been seeing the Leaf Pop Century Daisy Ridley auto cards around and the picture just looked a little "off" to me, and while it could be a drawing or art, it didn't look like it, so I did a bit of a search and what do you know, it looks like they used a picture of the Rey waxworks dummy from Madame Tussauds in London!

Here's a pic of the waxwork, but if you do a search for it you'll see plenty.
https://www.reddit.com/r/DaisyRidley...dame_tussauds/

And the card (This isn't mine) http://www.ebay.com/itm/2017-Leaf-Po....c100005.m1851

You can even see part of the roof area of the waxwork display is on the card.

Makes me chuckle - one way to get around Star Wars licencing! But did they need a Tussauds licence agreement instead ??? And is it still reeeeaaally a Daisy Ridley card ??

I knew something was up. How could they get the license to use a photo of her in her Rey outfit? That would have been taken on set which I'm sure Disney controls all aspects of that with a tight leash. Gotta give some credit to Leaf on that. They were a bit creative with it which I can appreciate.

Great detective work. I knew it seemed odd when I first saw it.

Did people just figure this out?? Haha I could tell right away it was a wax figure of her, the skin looked off and she's in rey outfit which isn't allowed

Normally the Tussauds waxworks are great, but in my personal view that likeness is rather off.

That's why she looked off. Funny.

I think this worked, it's better than a photo of Daisy at some event. The card doesn't look that bad.

I think it'd probably always bug me if I had one of them and knew what it was, especially if I'd bought it on the secondary market and paid the going price...

Think I'd much rather just a normal photo of her from an event rather than a photo of what's essentially just a mannequin made to look like her.

The Tom Berenger card in this set also looks off, but there's not a wax figure of Tom Berenger anywhere, is there?

And while we're at it, I always shop for the singles I want from this set in the month after it goes live. While doing that this year, I saw a Triple Autograph Pop Century card that appears to be "Terminator" themed as it features stickers of:

Edward Furlong (John Connor in Terminator 2)
Kristanna Loken (Lady Terminator in Terminator 3)
and
.
.
.
George Hamilton! (Zorro in Zorro, The Gay Blade is probably as close as he got)

Thinking they should've went with Linda Hamilton (who has signed for Leaf) on that card instead, maybe?

Agreed. Even if the mannequin was spot on, it's still not Daisy Ridley. I'd rather have no picture than a fake one. I'm definitely staying away from these auctions.

Now I know why she looked so creepy. I was wondering if it was even her?
