Exclamation After the eclipse watch American Greed on CNBC

The rise and FALL of Mastro auctions is the focus of a new episode of American Greed on Monday, 8/21 at 10pm.

You may also remember Mastro admitted to the FBI that he trimmed the edges of the T206 Wagner...

Just watched the 30 for 30 and it really surprises me how Maestro admitted to trimming the card and the grader from PSA still says in his opinion it wasn't trimmed.

Joe Orlando wasn't the founder. David Hall was the founder.

Appears that none of the big three graders wanted anything to do with contributing to that show.

Yeah seems most of it was on his shilling and a blurb on the trimmed card towards the end.

So the Wagner was graded and not shown to be trimmed? That is nuts, especially for an already small card.

Seemed like the show had like 5-10 minutes of material, a lot of repeating and commercials.

The worst was listing items at a lower value (and winning their own auction) and then regrading them with PSA and selling them for much higher prices with the proper listing details.

I knew Mastro was a douche, but he was even worse than I initially thought!

Yeah, I thought that was the dirtiest move.

The 30 for 30 on ESPN is pretty good regarding the WAGNER. It doesn't amaze me that this stuff happens but it really screws with the hobby unnecessarily. Who can we trust in this hobby anymore?
