Looking to move it and I can't find a print mark, a surface flaw,
The centering is great, etc. I've seen 9's, even PSA 10'a that don't
Look better. Do I
A.) Send to PWCC and hope for the Certified High-End connotation?
B.) Send to BGS, hope for a 9.5
C.) Resend to PSA
D.) Place under my pillow and hope the Jordan Fairy replaces it w a PSA 10?

Using some sort of shipping service, presumably after a PayPal transaction.

She's nice in the rear too! Pic attached.
At first glance I thought it had some tilt. Looks like it is just the way it's sitting in the holder.
The bottom right corner has what appears to be discoloration. Maybe a stain? Probably just the lighting when you scanned or took the picture.
That whole right side looks a bit off, surface-wise.

The entire right side is the shadow from my arm and my phone taking the picture. There is zero discoloration of any kind on the right side.

That is crazy nice. No fisheye either. I'm honestly pretty baffled by that grade, man.

Easy answer. D. Seriously though, I'd go with BGS since I don't see it getting a PSA 10, but a BGS 9.5 could be possible unless there's something we can't detect from the provided pics.

That settles it. Under the pillow she goes.

There's a slight touch of whitening on the left upper and lower corners which is a pretty automatic PSA 8
Based on my experience PSA WILL NOT grade a ANYTHING a PSA 9 if there is ANY touch of white on the corners, regardless if the centering is perfect (especially if its 2 corners)
Smart money crosses that to a BGS 9 with an 8.5 corner sub IMO :)!
If your lucky you may even get a 9.5 with a 9 corner sub as the centering on that card is excellent though that would really be a long shot IMO
It is to my experience that in general BGS tends to be stricter on centering while PSA tends to be stricter on corners

Fanastic card no matter the grade.

Thanks Wood, but Starman makes a great point...the fact it COULD be a Gem 9.5, gives the card so much variance. Ugh.

And if you send that to BGS in its PSA 8 case I will bet the farm that they WILL NOT cross that to a 9.5
However if you crack it and submit to BGS raw you risk damaging the card and losing the PSA 8 grade
Smart money submits that to BGS in its PSA 8 case with a BGS 9 minimum grade requirement IMO :)!

I'd like to just sell it in its current holder and let others roll the dice!

How much are you looking to sell it for?

PWCC would probably high end it thenif you sell as is. It is a strong 8. Be careful with shipping. It looks crooked and half the right side banging into that gasket. I've had bad experiences with psa and 86 fleer.

This red trout got a 10 with like 2-3 touched corners so....... Maybe it depends which grader you get

Run-of-the-mill 8's that are not centered and show a bunch of white go for what $1600-$1800. A BGS 9.5 goes for about $7000. It could bump. So $2500 obo

Starman pretty much told the story...it also has minuscule print dots in the blue surrounding the name on the front and two rust colored dots around the "H" in Michael on the back...combined with the slight whitening of top left corner, slight rounding on the rear right corner, and seemingly some whitening top right edge ..Eye appeal is amazing though...and these are extreme nit picks but PSA is unforgiving. BGS is pretty tough on surface though too, but I could see it as a BGS 9 with higher end subs. I'd be interested in a crack and submit to BGS however it is a sizeable risk, so my offer would be hedging on the BGS 8.5 side vs. a BGS 9. My optimistic prediction would be 9.5 centering, 9 edges, 9 corners, 8.5 surface, for a 9 overall. But, it could just as easily be 9.5 centering, 9 edges, 8.5 corners and 8.5 surface making it an extremely nice, but still an 8.5 overall. PM me if you think this is rational.

I say C) just send back to PSA for review. I have had some 9s come back as 10s upon review so I dont see why this cannot be a 9 or 8.5 increasing your sales potential and worth the review cost ($75 with padding for shipping both ways inclusive($45 + shipping)). I think it is worth the risk considering the buyer will pay a premium for your card expecting a bump potentially anyway so factor it is factored into your final price.

Curious of the hammer price if you care to reveal. Between an 8 and 9 I assume, probably 8.5 last sales price approximately?

I can't out of respect to the buyer. If he would like to share, more power to him!
