I just got this back today. It was a 25 year project because after getting Prowse on it in 1999 I never bothered to add Daniels until last year. I decided to drop it off to CGC at Megacon in February and this is the result. I was told that if OP hadn’t put the authentication sticker on the back then it would have received an 8.5 so that was a learning experience. Still happy with the grade on a nearly 50 year old magazine. Really though, encapsulating was more about future preservation than current condition.

I co-sign this! One of my fav characters growing up. I read FF a ton and Thing was always the most entertaining and funny character, with some deeper themes lurking there too. Heck Hulk, while a similar type of character, gets much more hobby love on the character tier spectrum than Thing. One thing that may have affected things also is FF for the longest time during the UD era being banned. So character collectors might have been discouraged from either bothering with Thing.

Hopefully the new FF movie doesn’t screw up the Thing. I’m not sure why it’s easier for CGI to make a cool Hulk but struggle to make a cool Thing.

I got several cards today, but this one stood out to me. Just a parallel. Not numbered, signed, autographed...you get the point. But, man, one of the nicest cards I have ever seen in hand. Regular scanner and regular photos don't do it justice, so I used the app on the Galaxy to take this, which shows it pretty well. No idea how SP'ed the parallel is(10 sold, 4 listed on COMC, plus ePack)...but awful tempting to go out and pick up anyone else I'd like to hold/display.

Seems the few I've scanned as elite have L/R issues but are pretty clean beyond that. That's only from sending 4 or 5 though. Was thinking of grading a few myself...maybe I just got unlucky :)

Picked these up at the Philly Non Sports Card Show on Sunday. Really like how Ted captured Sam and Diane's energy. Easily my favorite pick up of the year so far; will be a tough one to beat. Thanks Ted!

Interesting - haven't seen any in hand myself, but they look pretty cool. Silver Surfer isn't on the base checklist unfortunately, but he would've looked perfect on one of those.

Finally finished this set, the Iceman took forever to find but just came up a few days ago. These are the 94 Fleer Ultra X-Men Triptychs in sealed comic packs. Judging by the prices this sort of stuff goes for (low), I think I’m the only one in the hobby who cares about promos/cards in vintage sealed packaging, haha. Set of 6-

Keep in mind there are two different similarly named parallels in this set… 1) White Rainbows and 2) White Rainbows Beyond. These are the beyond versions. Kind of like how you used to walk into Bed, Bath, and Beyond and it wasn’t until you got to the Beyond section that things got interesting.

Nice pickups - that issue with Mister Sinister and Beast on the cover has the first appearance of Threnody. Not really that valuable, but still a cool book.

Below are a few elite scans of White Rainbow Beyond cards I recently picked up off of COMC. Some have the normal UD QC issues but I might slab one or two.

Yup...same as the ones I scanned. With PSA's new centering rules, it makes it super easy to pass on stuff that's not 55/45. That cuts out of TONS of potential cards I would have normally sent when it was 60/40. Fine by me. Probably should have been 55/45 all along for a 10 AND I get to saved $23 a pop :). Cool cards though! One of my favorite new parallels.

Some more elite scans came back today and you are right centering will be an issue on these. I will buy the bulk scan cards on COMc if they are cheap but too much of a risk to pay more than a few dollars if you can’t see the exact card you are getting.

I'm going to hold judgment until I see the final product. Generally speaking, I'm not a fan of movies changing the source material or origin stories for the big screen. I do think that Julia Garner is a talented actress, however.

I have a feeling that I'll enjoy the new Superman movie more, but we'll see.

He didn't have any official trading cards at the time, so this was the best option. Well, now it looks like he has plenty of cards to go around. I somehow scored 3x of these 1/1's the last few weeks without actively trying. Under $50 each too. I'm happy with that!

Zola's a fun character, for sure. He's one of those villains that's extremely dangerous if you give him enough prep time.

I'll use the autograph in the final framed piece, but I'm still going with the beyond just looks nicer in hand. The rainbow(auto) has the effect on the entire card, which still looks good...just not as good as the "swirl" you get on the beyond. The obvious big upside(for me) is that the rainbow is /10 and autographed by Wolfman(Big Blade fan & I also enjoyed Raven from Teen Titans Go...one of like 10 cartoons my son and I used to watch). Cool cards though, both of them.

I'm curious to see which character you are talking about... I don't collect any specific character but if I were going to go for one character it would probably be mewtwo... I pulled the mewtwo I graded in one of the very first few packs of pokemon that I opened then on the very next pack I pulled a mega mewtwo.. since then I've always liked mewtwo.
