Don't like to do this, but this guy really irritated me. Made an offer on my card, then accepted the offer. Then messages me 'offering' me to pay $200 less direct. Messaged him back telling him to just pay for the item he 'won'. Waited patiently for payment, while I noticed him bidding on other high-priced Flawless cards (including one similar to mine). Still doesn't pay and doesn't respond to my messages.

5 days later he finally responds to another message I send to him, saying that he can't pay for the price that he offered and won the item for, but he would be willing to pay for it direct for $200 less. Messaged him back letting him know that I turned down other offers that were close to the final price. Then told him I would work it out with him and offer him $100 less if paid direct. Received a response saying 'thanks for working it out' and that he promises to pay in a week once he gets the funds.

One week later and still nothing and back to no response. I also notice that he still continues to bid (and win) other items, as well as his most recent feedback from another buyer posting that he 'NEVER PAID'.

Already opened a case and closing it tonight. Makes me miss the days when a seller could leave a buyer Negative Feedback as well. Just wanted to share so others can avoid the trouble from this guy: jade20064eva

i thought buy-it-now listings stayed up until the buyer paid? didn't ebay just make a big deal about that change?

i think with any new release these weasels come out... they hit the buy it now or make a best offer to lock in a price, then keep shopping for a better one. if they find it, they never pay the first one.

sucks.

thanks for the heads up one this joker.

I've had issues with him too. Bought a bowman Chrome baseball card from me and filed a PayPal cla because the card didn't grade gem 9.5. He's a loser. Block him

Yeah this dude plays by his own rules. He bought a Nick Foles 84' auto refractor last year for $295.00 when Foles was promoted, and after a couple dud games I got an "Item Not Described" because of a slight surface scratch. The card was otherwise flawless, likely a 9.5 IMO, but they were half price by that time so he went and picked up another one for cheaper.

He is a grader who knows eBay policy well. He will make sure that he gets nothing less than Pristine or he sends stuff back to you for refund. Not worth the hassle IMO.

For whatever reason it doesn't seem that eBay actually implemented that. And quite frankly, I agree with NOT requiring immediate payment. I have several bulk buyers who will spread their purchases out over a week or so to save on shipping and it would be a PITA if I had to invoice them separately each day.

Anyway, see my post above. Immediate payment wouldn't stop this buyer either.

I believe that's exactly what this guy is doing, based on his recently bid items (and on similar items) and comments from other sellers on here.

I agree with you on problems even if the buyer had paid. Just someone to avoid in the future overall.

He did the same thing to me with my Bradley Beal NT RPA /5. Never paid. Really annoying on time sensitive cards that are more than a few hundred. Of course the same thing happens on here all the time......

That sucks, and he knows it. Seem like he's a pain to deal with all-around, with or without payment made. A definite BLOCK.

Hope people on here start blocking him and don't ever have to deal with his crap.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I'm glad (but not REALLY glad...if you know what I mean) that it wasn't just me.

Happy Aloha Friday everyone!

About 20 direct messages from this guy on ebay asking what the best price is I can do for the card direct off ebay.

Yes, the same card. And yes, 20 messages.

Blocked.

It did in many categories, but sportscards is not one of them.

This guy defaced a $600 card of mine (http://www.blowoutcards.com/forums/baseball/631668-im-outraged-11.html#post6295270) so that he could make an "item not as described claim" -- and to punish me for forcing him to return the entire lot (I sold him 5 cards, 4 of which he must have thought were definite gems; nothing about the Frazier black stood out to me when I sent it, believing it would grade GEM or MINT at worst), not just the one card he worried wouldn't grade GEM.

I don't block many people. But this guy is blocked. Because in addition to being a tool, if you give him your email address he'll write you constantly asking your opinion on his deals. In the kind of English that would make a fifth-grader cringe. I know a ton of high-end dealers and I myself deal in higher end chrome color RCs. And since this began I've heard from nearly every one of them telling me that this guy is a living nightmare, that he tries to return nearly every card if he can a) find one cheaper in the interim, or b) isn't positive it will grade a Gem.

Two words: douche salad.

I wouldn't just ban him. I'd shun him.

Bumping this thread because the scum bag is at it again.

I had a brain fart earlier this week and accepted an offer of $1,300 for my Maikel Franco Mini Superfractor Autograph. I was at work and quickly accepted without realizing it was Jade (and I do realize he has screwed me before).

Anyway, I've been following his recent activity on eBay and it is alarming. He has won tons of high end Bowman but his recent positive feedback is only a fraction of what he's actually purchased, so I expect more NPB's to follow. I'm starting to wonder if this guy has a connection at eBay because he has yet to be punished despite dozens of complaints about him.

So just another warning to everyone. He will try to suck you in with a sweet offer on your nice cards, but then he decides whether or not to pay only after the item is won, and he is unphased by NPB strikes.

If you want to really screw him over.. report him to ebay and tell them to check your messages that he tried to get you to do the deal off ebay. the ebay nazis will shut him down.
