Uggggh. I hate when people do this. Idk how much that Charles Hall AP was, but if you remember Kryten, he apparently commissioned it to resell.

So whoever missed it, if you still want it for $800, there's your chance.

way above what I could spend & not get killed.........lol

From what I gather, there are 3-4 leather parallels per box. (I got four in each of the boxes I opened) there would be between 352.7 to 470 cases of this released.

(3 to 4) cards/bx * 12 bx/cs = (36 to 48) cards/cs.
Total leather cards is 171 (base) * 99 (printed run of leathers) = 16,929 Leathers.
16,929 / (36 to 48) = 352.7 cases (at 48/cs) to 470 cases (at 36/cs).

Not that this information really helps anyone.

Anyone know the print run for the Blue Artist Autograph Parallels? Any of the artists, how many of each did you sign, I would think they are limited to 10 or 25 of each one..

Thanks

I know one of the artist signed 35 of each card he did.

I believe that's how many I did. Then there are the signed cards stamped AP of which I have a few sets.

That is why I'm going to wait. This stuff will dry up with these guys needing a fast return. Once the quick flippers are out of it, this will sell just fine in time. I just don't get the mentality that an item is a flop when it doesn't sell out in a week. This isn't like chrome where there is an endless supply out there. But do admit, that the time to buy this is from retailers like blowout that don't want too sit on it and start discounting it, especially now the holidays coming and quite a bit being released soon

Just finished sorting 5 cases! Didn't even get a complete patch set, only 31/42. Gonna be a tough set to complete!

Some people don't realize that some are very short printed.

I think it's good he's holding firm, lot of people giving this stuff away, most Firefly fans don't even know about this yet.

Just like the show, it wasn't a huge hit till after it had been out a while.

Maybe most collectors are just satisfied with the Inkworks autographs. I know I am and as crazy as it sounds, I consider those "vintage" and thus cooler. And they got the entire main cast to sign plus Christina Hendricks. Also, I think the (base) autograph design really hurts this Upper Deck set. Just my two cents.

This. The Inkworks auto's, relics & base card design were really good enough for me. Between the Firefly &* Serenity sets, I've got every auto I wanted of the cast. Not a big fan of the UD base cards. I like photo's from shows. I was hoping UD would actually give me some new shots from the series.

Won't be buying anything from this set unless a killer sketch comes my way.

Just not liking the "BASIC" Auto Design............................

I like the set. Some of the art work is amazing. And in time, the autos will do fine. Not saying they will be as good as ink works but they do offer a cheaper alternative This is a slow and steady wins the race type of product. There won't be any new releases anytime soon. I get it, some of you don't like it but there are some that do. But do wish the price point on it was better and in time it will.

The price point on this product will be high. Retail on this product is $100+/box. People have to get their money back so they won't be selling it cheap. Eventually it will water down and you will get them for cheap but in the meantime there will be some high prices.

Not intending to derail this thread, but is it a given with Upper Deck that any and all of their non-sport products will be $100+ a box/ $1200+ a case out the gate? I've never bought a non-sport Upper Deck box or case in my life but I find those prices interesting for a hobby that can barely support $50-$75 boxes most of the time. Star Wars may be able to, but not every product is Star Wars. Do they really put that much extra value in their boxes/cases to warrant those prices?

If you look around and do some research, you really don't have to pay those prices. I think firefly did not do the greatest job at making it a good value but dinosaurs they did a better job. Firefly needed a few more things in it like more short prints, variations. I like the set but these guys are right, it in no way can support the price tag. The case hits needed to be better and not getting the whole cast really hurt it. The sketch quality too wasn't strong either. I think if can get it around 75 or so, you'll be ok. Just wait for things like Black Friday and sales , you prolly be able get them much cheaper. And the flippers that need the instant return also hurts value on the entire market.

How often are 2 or 3 panel PUZZLE sketch cards showing up?
Are these rare?
I saw an example on eBay.
Any help appreciated. --

For recent Upper Deck sets puzzle sketches are usually voluntary with no more than 10% of our total sketches. 10% would be the maximum but with some artists not doing any and some sketches possibly not getting approved the actual number is probably significantly lower that that.
