What do you guys think here, is he worth buying up a few autos in the offseason?

I like him as a player. Is he going to be a superstar? Maybe, but he's in the right market... Just look at what Boston did for Rondos cards when he was at his prime :)!

I think he is a mid-level guard with very little upside. He is not a guy that will ever be an elite PG IMO. Short term starter, long term bench PG.

But he is going to be great defender! I also thinking about picking up some nice RC high ends.

Bostons my team man, but I just dont really think he is a superstar point guard in the making, which I hope that im completely wrong. Hes a good defender but not much of an offensive threat at tis point

Maybe kinda like Avery Bradley?

Tony Allen with better passing/scoring skills. Possible fringe All-Star in a few years. I don't see superstar potential, though.

Nice upside, pulled a dunk against the Raps that made me go nuts. Better shooter than I thought. Could be an 18-20PPG, 5-5-2.

Good enough for me

Smart has some upside but not much. Definitely worth a few autos.

Not sure how you guys can say he has little upside? He was a consensus top pick if he came out in 2013, mighta been #1. His defense is already elite, if he can get back to driving to the rim and score....hes an All Star.

Will he reach that? Who knows, but to say he has little upside is kinda foolish since he just turned 21.

Not sure he has the focus and mental toughness to leverage his physical talents to the max. He's seems on his way to becoming another JR Smith, and I think Isiaih Thomas might alpha that team away from him as well.

Isiah Thomas is a mess defensively, Stevens will never trust him.

Plus I think Thomas gets traded this year. Smart will harness his talents. He isnt a head case

Not foolish, he's a PG who avg under 40% shooting and poor FT shooting. Doesn't exactly spell great potential. Avg 27 min but managed only 7.8 pts? So he's not a great shooter or a great player maker, then what do you have? A guy who has little potential. Sure he's shown flashes of greatness but so did Brandon Jennings.

This right here. He only needs to be above average to be given the "star treatment" in Boston.

He was 20 years old playing behind Rajon Rondo. Plus his defense is already exceptional. Not to mention when you play with guys like Jeff Green, Evan Turner etc who always shoot its tough to get his points, which I dont think he even cared about this year.

If he was 23 I would agree, but 21 years old who already plays great defense and has a history of being an aggressive scorer? Yes foolish to say the upside is limited.

Smarts great but he needs to learn to shoot better. If he can't shoot then I don't ever see him making an impact in the hobby.

For what I have read, Smart is one of Boston's untouchables.

And yes, I'm hoarding a few cards.

X1000 love the kid. Peeps gotta realize a defending PG is Huge these days... Of course his shot will get better.

The kids got talent, just needs a level head on him. That should come with more experience and maturity. Smart of him to pass on the '13 draft. As a magic fan, I'm glad he did. Otherwise they wouldn't have traded for Elf.

On a long enough timeline, the upside for everyone is zero

He was already good, he's playing against weaker competition. I'd love to see him take a big leap forward, though.

Still think hes an All Star. Beating on kids in the summer league didnt do anything to change that for me.

He gets back to driving to the basket like he did in college, he could be a star sooner than later. Defense is already all star level
