A little over two weeks ago, I received a lead on my e-mail tip line,
superdan49@protonmail.com, from a concerned Blowout member that eBay user marketplacessi, operating a business known as Superior Sports Investments of Arlington, Texas, is selling numerous high-end trimmed cards certified by BGS and PSA. This seller is a member here on the Blowout Forums, under the username SSIGuy.
On Sunday evening, 2/24, I began a thread in the Basketball Hobby Talk entitled:
"Attention BODA: Blowout Member SSIGuy Selling Altered Cards, eBay ID= marketplacessi." In it, I initially exposed four cards in the inventory of SSIGuy, graded by BGS and PSA, that definitively had been trimmed or altered. I urge you to read the whole thread if you have a spare hour. To make a long story short, SSIGuy, who introduced himself as Bill John Sliheet, appeared in the thread, at first taking issue with my methodology in exposing him, but then resorting to making threats to sue Blowout, myself, and certain board members who criticized his business. He then began to hurl petty insults at members and made a veiled threat to BO member I Only Pull For that may be criminally actionable should I Only Pull For choose to pursue it (see
post #134).
In any event, more trimmed cards were soon discovered in Bill Sliheet's eBay inventory, and thanks to BO members it was firmly established that one of those cards, a 2011 Topps Update Black JD Martinez, serial numbered 03/60 and graded BGS 9.5, was purchased raw off eBay, shipped to the buyer, slightly trimmed, delivered to Beckett, and graded all within the short span of 15 days. It has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that Bill Sliheet / Superior Sports Investments was the submitter of that tainted card. (see

In another twist, last night, a brand-new BO member named Iceman1982 came into the thread attacking all the members — ironically—for maintaining their anonymity. Houdini soon banned Iceman, and members agree that this was an attempt by Sliheet or someone associated with him to derail the thread and deflect from the issue at hand.
Because of that naked attempt to derail the original thread, I have decided to start a new thread here in the football section with three yet-to-be documented Drew Brees high-end rookie cards, all graded by BGS or PSA, owned by Sliheet, and all trimmed. This thread is exclusively about football cards, and adheres to the principles laid out in
Houdini's "Official Callout Thread Guide." Should you post in this thread, I strongly advise you to adhere to these principles. Now without further ado, here are the three Brees cards (in two non-consecutive posts):
