He has full no trade now and is unrestricted free agent after this year so he’s 100% in control of where he goes. He delayed his surgery until March to make it harder for SF to trade him before this season. And I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s starting by week 3 if you believe reports out of camp about coaches faith in Lance as the starter. SF is in win now mode and Jimmy probably gives them best chance right now.
