I'd be highly surprised if Jimmy is starting by week 3, but it's not impossible. Nate Sudfeld could be starting by week 4!

Yes, SF has a very weak schedule the first 6 weeks. Even if Lance sucks they should still start the season 4-2. Then they lose to KC and LAR and go into the bye week at 4-4 and seriously consider switching to Jimmy if they think they have a legit Super Bowl team. Then they get LAC, AZ, NO, MIA and TB after bye which could all be losses if Lance still sucks at that point and you are 4-9 and season is over

Even though I've been critical about Lance it sucks to see anyone get hurt like that. But yes, I agree they are contenders now

me too.

but i was also torn about it, especially after seeing and knowing what Jimmy has done with us when he's healthy.

still, Trey is 23, he'll be fine hopefully, and be back next season as he takes over as the starting QB of the defending SB Champion 49ers

Did one of you guys buy a contenders auto /10 that was $4200 OBO just now? It had a pending offer that was accepted, I wonder how that will end.

i just thought about this, but it's true.

Trey has started in 4 NFL games...4

he's been hurt in 2 of them...both because of the pounding he's taking from running the football on designed runs. he missed the game after the Cards, his 1st career start, with a knee injury, and then today.

two divisional games, both because of the pounding he took from running the ball.

come on Kyle...don't use this kid up the way your dad did with RG3.
