If I were Fanatics, the first thing I would do is move the baseball calendar to April 1st. Series 1 on or around April 1st, Heritage 4 weeks after that, and then figure out what makes most sense through summer and into fall. Use that early year window to get NBA back on track and try not to let NFL leak past the Super Bowl.

Peak baseball starts when pitchers and catchers report. To me that's the best time to release Flagship. Then you can get Heritage in during Spring Training. I think if they wait until Opening Day they are missing out on some $. As a purely singles reseller it would be good for me if people spent their excitment on older cards, but I don't see it as making any sense for Topps.
