I think NE looked better this weekend so I'm going with them despite my preference to see teams not repeat

I'm pretty sure some inside person working for the Colts infected them with the flu a few days earlier too.

Not only that, but the home team has won every playoff game between Manning and Brady.

You hear that, the whole team got the flu.

So they had to put out that, ridiculous team, for you.

If both teams play the way they did this weekend then the Pats win by 7-10

The old sheriff has enough ammo to get us 24 points and I hope that's all we need.

Demaryius if you stop dropping passes that would be nice.

Every team left in this post-season has flaws. Edelman dropped a handful yesterday, Arizona and Carolina looked beatable (Carolina not as much because the game dynamic changes when you're up that much) and Denver had some serious breakdowns on defense today while they couldn't convert a lick on 3rd down. (And kept running into a wall on 2nd down).

NE's run defense isn't as good as Pittsburgh's, there's yards to be had there and Denver ran pretty good against them weeks ago. Patricia has to load the box on Sunday and force Manning to make the throws in man to man coverage this time, who knows if he can.

For me its that Manning looks awful and the Pats are getting healthy. I see the Pats winning by 10 but will be close most of the game. Either way its gonna be hard to win in Denver

Quick Peyton question - does he hold the Wins record now, or is he only tied?

(Post-season games do count I would think?)

@MarkDanielsPJ
Brady's targets in 2013 AFC championship loss to Denver: Edelman, Shane Vereen, Austin Collie, Hooman, Aaron Dobson and Matthew Mulligan.

Only one of them will be playing on Sunday

I'm expecting an easy Patriots win. With Edelman and Gronk healthy the Pats are going to be tough for Denver to beat.

Just from the guys who didn't play for the Pats in Denver in week 11, versus who they have available now... Pats SHOULD win this fairly easily. Doesn't mean that's what will happen, but good grief... Last time they didn't have Edelman OR amendola, gronk left the game halfway thru the 4th so he missed the overtime. On defense no Collins and Coleman, and only about a quarter and a half of Hightower. If they stay healthy throughout the game, this feels like a 7-17 point patriots win.

Oh man, what a week this will be! Let's start the insanity!!! Can't believe the Steelers handed that one over. But it's better this way. Peyton's last stand! Brady's drive for #5. They should pull pretty good ratings for this one...

I think the Broncos were playing with a backup qb aswell if I remember correctly. pats fans seem to forget Denver had injuries aswell.

I think Brock is the better option for the Broncos

I don't think that that is a very far fetched statement. Though Manning is less likely to get fooled by the defense, Brock is more likely to hit his target.

NFL posted
"15 combined AFC Championship appearances.
5 combined Super Bowl titles.
And they will meet for the 17th time on Sunday."

Brady has 10/15 AFC Championship appearances and 4/5 Super Bowl titles.

His target catching it is a whole other issue entirely. Because holy crap, the Denver receivers have a major case of the drops for weeks, and their drops were part of the reason Brock got benched.

New England wins by double digits. They're healthy, and going against Peyton. Only Blake Bortles threw more picks this season than Peyton, and he played in 6 more games than Peyton. It's going to come down to if Peyton can make the throws, and I don't think he will.

Unless the Broncos play a near perfect game, I don't see how they win this one, but that's why they play the game.

You're right... If manning plays in that game, the patriots have 2 or 3 picks and win by 10-15. Then the game would be in foxboro this weekend. That's not even far fetched mean trash talk. That's the average based on manning's 17 picks in 9 starts in the regular season. 2 would have been a gimme pretty much, 3 would be pretty likely.

The fact that everyone here thinks the Patriots are going to win, plus the fact all the money will go on the Patriots makes me believe the Broncos are going to the Super Bowl.
