Default Split an Eminence Box with LCS

We split a box in half and ran a random draft. The arrangement was if it was an even amount of cards, we would go 50/50 and flip a coin for the box. If it was an odd amount, the box would be the last piece. We both agreed that any loss would be more palatable.

There were 7 cards in the box and we ran our names via randomizer.com

The owner of the shop got the following:
• David Robinson auto silver all star
• N. Mirotic patch auto /5
• Wilt PHILA silver /5
• The box

Here is what I got:

and this...

I don't know much baseball, but I think this should sell well.

The cards were spread out from left to right based on the open box. We then entered our names in the website with my name first followed by the LCS (4X).

Randomized 8 times and I ended with 1, 4, 5 and 6

I'm not sure if it being from Eminence will help or hurt its value, but Cobb cut auto cards generally go for $1,500-$2,000.

I think you will get around $2500 for that Cobb auto. Coming from a high end product and being a 1/1. They didn't center the auto perfectly but thank god that none of it got cut off. Great card.

The lcs needs to learn how to pick. I think your 4 would have been 3/4 of my top picks. The Cobb leaves me speachless. It is awesome.

Thank you all for the feedback. The owner actually defined the rules and I just happen to luck out. I may have broken even. But it was a cool experience.

Crazy you got autos of two of the best nba players and a 1/1 cut auto of one of the greatest baseball players ever, and will break even on just half a box

I know. That's why I hesitated on buying in. But it worked out.

I'd say you could get 3000+ given the set and 1/1. 1500-2000 is far too low.

I based my price range on several Ty Cobb cut autos, including a 1/1 from Topps Dynasty which is a high end licensed baseball product and had a better auto. I'm not just making up those numbers. GLWS.

Well, you know more of the market than I do and I also appreciate answering my inquiry.

I would think the Cobb would be $5k MIN, since its from the most expensive product ever

The only difference between (1) that break and (2) you just grabbing the sealed box and running out the door?

The owner can't call the cops on you!
