Mail: My Jordy PC got larger! Some nice 1/1s got added.
I grabbed a monster patch out of Museum. Pretty clear that this probably isn't game used stuff at all, in any off the Topps cards listed below, but oh well, still adds to the design a bit.
 Started off by loading up on Supreme. The design isn't too bad this year, actually... well, other than the stickers.       I also went after the Black Gold stuff because I love the design of these, especially the acetate jersey and patch autos. They look awesome in hand, the scans don't do them justice at all.     I did get one more NT card, but that is for later   I also picked up some of the Definitive jersey/patch autos and one dual. I have a few more pending redemptions because Clay needs to sign his cards!     I also got another one of the very hard to find autos out of 2014 Select. These pop up from time to time, but I don't think Select was a very popular product, because they seem to be hiding.  Now, for the really good stuff! Before I get to all the 1/1s, I need to get this one out of the way. This is my 4 from the /10, so I now have 40% of the release on these! Three of them have NFL Shield patches. The 4th has two tags.  Now for the 1/1 parade! This Spectra card is VERY nice in hand (a very cool orange refractor), but the scanner just can't get the color. Oh well...  Everyone loves mirror black!  This will probably be the only letter I get out of Definitive because it is clear these aren't GU. Still a nice 1/1!  Now, for my favorites! This card looks AMAZING in hand. The color design works perfectly with the Kansas State purple.  And last, but not least...

Very nice pick ups, Tommy! Seeing that Rare Materials just makes me miss UD having the NFL license that much more...truly beautiful card! Clay has signed his Definitive redemptions so we should both be seeing some beauties in the mail soon!

I have to agree with your Purple Flash assessment, those cards really pop in person. Nice haul of Jordys!

Amazing additions, Tommy. I see your collection and know I need to find a player or set to collect like you do with Jordy.
I do find it funny that I ended up selling you those Select cards numbered to 5 and 10. I should have just messaged you first and we could have avoided ebay. I will keep that in mind for the future. |
