Default Question about buying Packer Home Game Tickets

Edit: Just realized this is probably wrong section. Sorry!

So Green Bay won the coin flip between a handful of others on an away game that my family and I will attend this season. Specifically the Cowboy game. Schedule was released tonight and the game is on October 16th. I scrambled to look at hotels because I read in another thread that rooms will shoot up to 4-500 a night when schedule comes out. Found a room at the Hilton near the stadium for 159 a night but right before I booked I paused thinking what if tickets are tough to get.

They are obviously not available to purchase right now but what are the chances we find 6 seats together when they are released? We are willing to spend 2-300 per ticket but want decent seats. Possible? If there is a chance this won't work I am going to plan on a different venue.

Any help or advice is appreciated.

I have no direct knowledge on the subject but I would be surprised if decent seats to a Packers game were less than $300.

Book the room while you can. I got a couple tickets to the Packers/Cowboys game at Lambeau last year for about $175 a piece (just two seats) easily over the summer, but the hotel room was the hardest (and most expensive) part in securing the trip. Seats weren't anything remarkable but they were far from bad. Not sure there's a bad seat in the house, to be honest.

Decent seats expect 400 if your lucky. More in the 600 for nice tickets and around 1k for good tickets.

Also check my COMC. Even if you don't use COMC I can have cards shipped.

Thanks. Worse case scenario I cancel the room. We are going to stay 3 nights. I would think of all stadiums your last statement only applies to Lambeau...we will probably enjoy any seats we can get.

I know there are lot more knowledgable people on here who have actually gone to the lambeau games than I have. I always wanted to check out dallas @ Gb as well and if this game was early December I would have gone .was thinkn of going to playoff game couple of years ago and there is not a bad seat really in the stadium ..unles of course corner end zone but still u can see all the action it seems..doubt u will find 6 all in a row at Ur price range tho..

It gives a view of stadium seating and I saw a 400 level in between the 20's 6 tickets in a row listing and those are at $500 a piece still have to add fees and taxes as well.

I think I can take it up a few notches on price. Our airfare will be covered with my AA miles. Thanks for the link. I was on Stubhub and nothing was showing for the Cowboy game yet.

Just an update on this.

Went ahead and got two rooms for three nights in Appleton. Was shooting for Green Bay but I had more than enough La Quinta Points to cover it and there isn't one in Green Bay. Maybe someone can chime in but I hope this wasn't a bad idea.

Airfare was booked with miles.

Tickets. Been watching and they are actually trending down slightly. Found some that I am interested in the lower sections but I am not going to pull the trigger just yet. Looks like 300-350 per ticket is what we are going to spend for decent seats.

October can't get here fast enough.

Appleton is about 30 minutes away, but is totally fine. In fact, the opposing team stays in Appleton as well.

From a season ticket holder best thing to do now is call ticket brokers tell them what you are looking for as people who own large sections of seats sometimes sell to these brokers and they will usually break those up into 2-4 seat sections. So call now saying you are looking for 6 tickets together and give you a call if they get some.

Also go to craigslist and post a add in the GB and Appleton pages saying you are looking for tickets and what you will pay.

Good Luck

Mail day!! Ended up with seats in the endzone. Miller light entrance. Wish I would have purchased back when the schedule was released. Prices shot up over the past few weeks. No regrets though.
