Been picking up quite a few Mays lately and wasn't going to post anything anywhere but these are too nice not to share. Not too many dual autos of players with a combined 300 WAR.

Was hoping for some help in this thread - I picked up the Leon Day 'Ted Williams' auto, which would be my 99th different HOFer on-card official auto. The one I picked up has no designation that it's not the base bard, so I went back and took a look. It seems as though some of them have a watermark/stamp indentation on the front. Are these the 'official' autographed ones, and I just got a base card that was signed? That's gonna drive me nuts. Also, did a COA come with the Leon Day like they did for the Front Row Ferrell/Barlick/Lemon that I have? I can't consider this an official auto now if that's the case, and I'll have to replace it. Any help would be appreciated!

COEFOR, I can't decide which one of those I like best; the Museum Collection has a beautiful design but the other one has them in their Milwaukee and New York uniforms.

A few recent pick ups, I'm getting out of modern and going vintage only Might do a thread about the reasons behind it sometime. Even made an account on Net54 with the same username, although the BST for non-T206 cards doesn't seem that lively...

Anybody else like these Perez Steele Postcard things? I have a few more coming but I think they look nice and are usually reasonably priced compared to cards.

I went into hiding for a bit but I haven't stopped the HOF chase. I just spent most of the morning reorganizing my PB as it was way out of date from cards I've added and/or swapped out for different versions. I've linked it here and it is mostly up to date with the exception of about 30 cards that are out for grading and/or authentication. I'll be sure to show those when they come in. Anyone else have any new additions?

Just got my authentications back from SGC. Did better percentage wise than last time but still an unacceptable amount that failed authentication. I will no longer buy anything that isn't already authenticated. Heck, this time they even failed multiple that already were JSA certified so that's even worse.

I plan on uploading my haul shortly but before I do I ask one favor. I'm normally very picky and can instantly decide which version I want to keep but I'm stuck here and like them both absolutely equally. Help me decide which should be the keeper. The '82 is a clean and classic look with a very bold auto but the darkness in the picture absorbs the auto a bit too much. The Pacific is a good picture and a decent auto but I usually detest the Pacific cards.

It's weird, but I like the auto and the pose on the 2nd card but I like the placement and the border better on the 1st one. For some reason the 1st one is more visually appealing to me.

This is exactly where I am too. The one thing that gets me is that the auto shows up better on the scan of the first one than it does in person. The black sleeve almost completely hides the beginning of the auto

I like the 2nd one better, but you wouldn't be wrong keeping either one.

Just give me the one you don't end up keeping.

Also, which autos failed?? I would love to see scans of those.

I wanted to do this as well (bolded) but was unsure of how to do it. Is this thread appropriate or should I start another? I didn't want to clog up this thread with unauthentic HOF autos as I've taken a purist stance with it but then again, it would be relatively on topic as well as informative to those that are collecting these as we are.

I'd be happy to "give" you the other in exchange for a fair donation to my HOF PC non profit charity.

Also, y'all aren't helping, I have one vote for each.

New thread for that. But if some were authenticated by JSA then it is possible PSA is wrong. It's not like we're talking GAI or some random LCS.

Ok, I've had time to let it sink in. The autograph on card #2 is just too nice. I love how he crossed his t on that one.

Wade Boggs Five Star Auto /25-

This one was issued as a redemption, and to my knowledge there are only 25 copies (no base version). It fills a need in both my quest for Five Star autos, and the 3,000 Hit club autos. He's also a HOFer to boot!

Randy Johnson Bobblehead-

This is a place holder (it was $2) for a better bobble. But it covers 3,000 K Club, 300 W Club, Perfect Game Pitchers Club- and he's a HOFer!

Brooks Robinson Bobblehead-

One of my favorite players because it was my Paw's favorite. Pretty excited to get this bobble, and he's a HOFer of course!

1969 Topps Bobby Cox RC-

Not only does it cover a requirement in my HOF RC needs, but also more importantly in my '95 WS Braves RCs! It's the last one I needed!

1933 Goudey Frank Frisch-

My first '33 Goudey for that set (hahaha) and a HOFer!

1933 Goudey Jim Bottomley-

My second '33 Goudey for my set (no seriously ha) and another HOFer!
