Tristan was pretty much doing his same thing most of the season. Mozgov hasn't really had much playing time this season, but Blatt did like to play him some, and Varejao was back, so Thompson was sharing minutes with three other guys including Love. Tristan doesn't really disappear he is probably one of the most consistent guys on the team. When he gets his minutes he's about always good for around 10 pts and 10 rebounds +/- 2. As someone that watched every Cavs game this season I feel very comfortable saying Tristan plays well just about every game. He was never known for his offensive abilities and was paid for his defense and rebounding ability, he has improved his offensive game somewhat this season taking and hitting more mid-range jumpers than previous years, which to me is like an added bonus. Two years in a row Tristan has played well in the post season and particularly the finals, when he is getting the most minutes. I am not arguing that he is a better player/leader, just that I would rather have Tristan on this Cavs team than Draymond. Draymond would not fit well in terms of team chemistry, similar with Love. Which is also why I would say, I would rather have Tristan Thompson on this Cavs team than Love. Sure Love is a better player, but he isn't as effective on the Cavs. He has his moments for sure, but overall he just doesn't fit well. If I am Golden State and probably most other teams, I would rather have Green, but for the Cavs team, as currently constructed, I would rather have Thompson.
If I didn't watch Basketball I'd think Thompson is a top 20 player the way you're talking about him.

Gameday baby! Good luck to both teams. Should be exciting. And Happy Father's Day to all the dads on here.

I think whatever happens tonight, a LOT of people are gonna eat crow...

@Lebron haters.....if the Cavs win, I hope you eat a extra dosage of crow for being such salty, unbearable, and quite frankly one of the absolute WORST haters I've ever come to known in all of sports....I honestly can't emphasize my dislike towards Lebron Haters more than that without actually using expletives.

That's it for me....Good luck to both teams.

Win or lose tonight Lebron's greatness or place on the greatest list doesnt change in my opinion. If he wins tonight, hes not the GOAT, if he loses tonight hes not a choker.

Whatever happens tonight Lebron has been amazing, I mean he is amazing.

Still think the Warriors pull it out tonight, but I for one really didnt think this was going 6 let alone 7 the way its gone.

Starting my new job tomorrow at 4AM. If I wake up late I'll miss the van or I have to miss the 2nd half of the finals. Screw dry wall. No pun intended.

Very well.

@People who have an obsession for negatively opposing Lebron....maybe take a look at your own life and stop this delusional state of obsession with someone you don't know and whose life doesn't affect you or vice versa.

I mean this goes out to most people obsessed with famous people in general though...

If Lebron loses tonight but has a good game again only a FREAKING STUPID MORON on here would criticize him cause guy has been a beast. Now if he plays poorly yes he should be criticized a little. But if he plays good and they lose only a FREAKING MORON would criticize Lebron. We will see excited but not feeling good.

I'd want Draymond on my team. He can shoot, pass, board and defend more positions. He's also not a person I'm comfortable giving the ball to and letting him create, Draymond can.
Exactly TT is a beast love him but offensively besides ally ops he sucks. And that why the warriors they way better all around team and should win, but Lebron greatness is overshadowing his not so great team. Hope the role players can finalLy step up. THAT MEAN YOU BUM A$$$ KEVIN LOVE AND IMAN SHUMPERT, AND JR TO.

HAHA it true they really sound like morons. No matter what Lebron shut them up anyway by how he playing like a freaking BEAST. And he finally put all this curry is better non sense to rest. If Lebron plays god and cars lose he finals MVP all day.

Okay here how I personally feel for the game now.

I have a bad feeling about the game for the cavs the supporting cast has been terrible besides kyrie and TT. I just can't see the warriors lose a game 7 at home. The warriors are the way better team and should win cavs have no pressure. Warriors should win game 7 at home and they are the better team. But Lebron showed he the best player by far still which I'm happy about.

Last thing if Lebron plays good and Cavs lose which i think will happen hope I'm wrong he is still for sure Finals MVP.

I hope I'm wrong and cavs win but i can't see warriors losing this. I just hope Lebron plays good and there in it till the end but we will see have to believe lol.

I won't be posting till way after the game is over or tomorrow.

Either way enjoy everyone hope it a good game and cavs pull off the miracle and lebron plays well. Cavs have nothing to be ashamed about forcing a game 7 was great in it self now lets hope they can finish it.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?????????!!!

ENJOY EVERYONE

Enjoy the game, JV. Hope you guys have a blast.

I'll be watching it tonight with my wife and kids, having a nice Father's Day dinner...it doesn't get much better. (Except if my team was in the Finals...hell, the playoffs would have been nice this year lol)

I hope for a great game from all players, both teams to be playing at their best, the coaches on top of their games, and the refs (lol) to be great.

ENJOY THE GAME EVERYONE!!!

I couldn't agree with the bolded part more. My kid will be asleep and we already ate dinner but my wife and I will be watching the game after a fantastic Father's Day.
