Default LeBrons Game Used Jersey

So LeBrons Game 3 jersey now up to 36K on NBA.com. 20 days left. 2 questions -

1) How high does it go?

2) Would it bother you if Panini wins it and cuts it up for next years product?

no chance panini buys that, they will buy one at dick's for 59.99 and put that in the cards.

1. I think the jersey will go to probably 50K but I think they are also going to sell the game 7 jerseys as well so people with the big dollars might be waiting to get that one.
2. I might be wrong but I think panini gets the game worn jerseys from one of the games in the series that are not for sale to the public. I think they might buy like game 2 or something like that and just buy them directly from Meigray but not totally sure about that.

The same guy that wins pretty much everything on NBA Auctions will win a the big name jerseys and he has unlimited pockets so whatever it takes he'll get it

At the very least, his game 7 jersey should be preserved and displayed at the HOF museum.

In the Finals, they should all be switching jerseys at halftime.

i think they switch jerseys at least at halftime every game they play, i dunno exactly. i wouldnt think it would make business sense for panini to pay an exorbitant price on finals jerseys up for general auction. first of all as the sole liscensed provider for the nba, i would assume they would have it in their contract how and what they acquire and that either falls under the total price of the contract they pay, or everything is listed out ahead of time what they would pay. so i doubt panini would bid anyway, but even if they wanted to, i dont think they need an item like that to sell their product, especially when it would go into their higher end stuff anyway.

i wonder if they put up a game 7 jersey, if the auction says how many jerseys lebron wore during the game, and i would probably rather have a traditional jersey not the sleeved version if i was gonna be paying $100k+ for something like that. i like the look of that particular sleeved uni but i think a regular jersey would have sold for more. also it was kind of interesting that lebron's sleeved jersey had loose fitting sleeves whereas most of the players sleeves were tight fitting, he obviously wanted it like that since he had complained about the sleeves before, they look better tight fitting though.

I'd guess it exceeds 50k significantly but it's hard to say.

It likely will be, many suggestions point to jtnbafan being on the board of directors of the hall of fame.

Doubt panini will win it and cut it up. They will go after the cheapest jersey that gets sold and use that (if truely bidding, itll be a shirt from a losing game)

You have absolutely no idea.
Panini probably get ones from the games that aren't sold on that site.
Jtnbafan will likely get ALL of the others...

How much would a Lebron rookie auto jersey be worth now?

You could have left off the first line.

not 100% sure but I believe the winner of most the big name jerseys (and all star jerseys) has ties to the NBA HOF Museum somehow so at least it gets shared or displayed in some form for others to see as well.

Why? He posted as if it was a fact. He did not say it was his opinion or thought, he posted that it was going to happen. And he will likely be very wrong.
So what was inaccurate about my response?

There was nothing inaccurate about your response. It comes across as snarky, though.

I don't think we should all really have to put "IMO" after all of our not completely factual posts just in case someone takes it as gospel.

Neither, because many times it's obvious. Except this guy, with no experience with this kind of thing, posted something as a fact. But he has absolutely no idea. Which I stated. As I do have experience.
It bothers me when people who are uninformed themselves give suggestions or information on that which they know nothing about, especially because people might take it as being real advice or information.
