Default I can't do this anymore

I fully understand of running the risk of an auction on eBay and I understand wanting the most for your stuff. But when I message you and ask to put a BIN FOR more than the card is gonna go for, and get a nasty response. So I offered double what it's going for I got a nastier response.. I just don't get it

Just wait and win it at auction? A lot of people won't want to stop an auction, especially if it has bids on it.

Could be a business decision move in following through on original intention by seller.

I understand you wanting the card, seems like the seller lacks people/life skills or customer service, just win it at auction for (it sounds like a cheaper price) than you have offered and count him being a douche noggle and losing money being his loss.

The card was at 65$ with a day left so I offered 100 than 150 now the card is at 100 about to end and I offered 180 than 200

When I list an item as an auction I will not end it for any reason.

I just hate auctions so if it's a card I want or need I'll message them an insane BIN price

agreed, had i wanted to offer a BiN, i would have done that at the start. i hate when sellers end auctions early. it causes me to (often) not bid on their items in the future.

I've offered some sellers a pretty good over value offers on some stuff that they had listed of the prizm stuff I need, and had replies that said "I want to see what it goes for on auction". Fine, I have no problem with that, but i ask anyway just because I've gotten some people to take me up on the offer. It's not that I don't have patience to wait, I just want to make sure I get it. Anyhow, every time i've done that and the person turned me down, I got it for about 20-30 less than the offer I made, so i can't complain lol

Yeah I mean I can wait but with the holidays and such I just didn't wanna wait 2 weeks for shipping. It just annoys me to wait a week and own a card at less than what you offered

So what makes you think you are entitled for a seller to cancel bids on their own listing, end an auction early and relist as a BIN just for you if they do not want to?

The thing is, I messaged him a generous offer, and I got a response in a nutshell saying "that kinda money ain't touch this card".
Now if I offered you 100$ on a lebron James auto that had 7days left and was at 70$ and wanted you to cancel, I see you having an issue.

The thing is I offered him a high offer so he would accept and get it out before the holidays.

I mean I'm not hard up for money, I can offer a good amount. But waiting a week to only win cheaper is insane

You are obviously just trolling, or had to much to drink for the holiday. Just lay down, and pass out buddy. Tomorrow is a new day.

Is the world gonna end in two weeks? You'd rather pay double what the card is worth and will likely go for just so you can get it two weeks early?

OP comes off as an entitled douchebag. If they reject your offer, get over it and bid like everyone else. It's the sellers card to do with as they please. Honestly, had I declined your original offer and you come at me again with a second offer, I would have blocked you and happily sold it for less to someone that respected my wishes to sell the card at auction.

No matter how many times mommy tells you otherwise, you are not a special snowflake.

"Sometimes the shoe fits". Not if you're a grown mature man. I would think a grown man could come up with better arguments than calling somebody a "douche bag" but maybe that's just me.

Sometimes they can and I wish better words were coming to my head but unfortunately they aren't, the same phrase just keeps coming to mind, 'sometimes the shoe fits'. Would I have said the same thing in reference to the posts above it? No but that doesn't mean I don't agree with the sentiment. The OP is coming off as an entitled, whiny, spoiled brat, prima donna. Looky there, I did come up with other words after all.

I had a Sidney Crosby Cup RC Platinum /25 years ago up for $1000. a buyer offered me $950 and I declined. He was nasty and was acting entitled to the card when I wouldn't budge. It sat up for a week more and I wound up accepting a $930 offer from someone that was pleasant and cool to deal with.

I got a very angry, condescending email from the first offer buyer saying things like I was a POS for not accepting, blah blah blah.

Told him it was my freakin' card, and he had such a potty attitude that I wouldn't have sold it to him for $1500. Basically told him to kick rocks and pound sand over $20.

Some real tools on eBay
