So they gave him the Mozgov contract.

Football players get screwed.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Did the Broncos have to skirt salary cap rules to make this happen?

I am so glad he is back and not playing in an uncomfortable situation with the tag. Now let's see him live up to that price tag.

Had to do it, if you're the Broncos. These two monsters in the same division is fun.

They should have let him sit out to raise chickens if he would have. They certainly aren't winning anything this year with their QB issues.

What a nutzo contract, $70 million guaranteed is crazy.

Justin Houston is yet another beastly OLB in the division too. Sad he's not going to be playing this year (more than likely).

Best player on the best team... You have to do it if you're the Broncos.

Just picked up a Contenders the other day. Way too cheap for a future HOFer, IMO at least... If only Khalil Mack had a contenders too lol.

I will I admit I was wrong here. During the 2014 draft on a podcast I do. I said Khalil Mack would be a bust, as a matter of fact I called him "the defensive version of JaMarcus Russell, and this generations Mike Mamula." I have never been so wrong.

I'm curious of the reasons why you think he would be such a bust?

Mainly because I have zero faith in Raiders scouting. He played at a small school, and they were basing his draft stock on a game against Ohio State and the Combine which is misleading. It's seemed to be a recipe for a bust.

IMO, the Broncos really had no other choice. They had to get this deal done and that was Miller's market value.

Miller is probably the single biggest reason the Broncos won the Super Bowl last season. 2.5 sacks against the Pats in the AFC title game, wreaking havoc on Brady the entire game (plus he had an INT that game as well).

Then in the Super Bowl sacking Newton 2.5 times as well as forcing 2 fumbles, earning game MVP.

If the Broncos wanted any chance of getting back to the Super Bowl, they had to lock up Von.

Von Miller won Denver a SB, had to sign him any way they could.
