I don't get how people are expecting to trade 1 studs for 2 studs. Not just HR 2 posts above, have had that from multiple people. I don't see why anybody would trade 2 studs for 1

Trading big name players is hard though. I know some of the offers I've received for a guy like Bumgarner are nowhere near what I'd want for him. And usually the 1 stud would be the best out of the 3 players in that scenario.

All the players I traded Hollywood last year have been disasters this year. Ryu and Brantley with injuries, returning to do nothing, and then getting injured again. And then there's Shelby Miller. 3 players I'm glad I got rid of (at least right now I'm glad).

Certainly was hoping for better results, but I can be patient. I'm clearly not going anywhere anyways. Plenty of time for Brantley and Ryu to get healthy and be good again. Miller just sucks and I should have never traded for him

I think you got a slight edge in your trade with D2R. Wright has been great this year, but I see him as a one year wonder. I could be wrong though.

He's been great this year, but even if he does keep pitching at this same level for a few years, he'll be declining when I hope/expect to be contending. I am worried about his chances to repeatedly pitch well in the long run too, so I'm happy to swap him for a young stud at 3B

We should think about changing the rules for players added to the player pool midseason. I don't care about Gurriel, but it seems like whoever happens to be online when someone gets added gets it, don't know if it should be that easy. Also would help bring a lot more value to the draft. It's just tough because I'm sure there's numerous players nobody cares about that will be added to the pool midseason, and there's no way to know if they were in the pool before or not unless you happened to look before and didn't see them there

I think the rules are the way they are now more because it'd be hard to keep track of who was in the player pool at the start of the year and who wasn't, and less because of that's how it should be
