Great cards, congrats! I was hoping to be able to pick up a couple of packs direct from Breygent, but guess I missed out. On the Acar, I'm thinking maybe Dexter? Although he normally doesn't have a beard, but it looks like him to me.

How were licenses for all of these things obtained for this product? Wouldn't you have to buy each license separate?

I did some searching and apparently around July 7th these went on pre-sale posted on Non Sports Update forum, I inquired to buy some yesterday but Tom is not taking any online orders at the moment as these are intended for the SDCC event going on right now through this weekend.

sad I missed the pre-sale of these, hopefully he still has some left after the show but with only 275 packs I'm sure he will have no problem getting rid of them

Yeah, now that you say that, I can totally see it. And now I'm kinda embarrassed that I thought it was Dexter, especially since I'm a big fan of GOT!

Since these are original art and there are no reproduced printed cards, they didn't have to obtain any licenses. Leaf did the same thing last year for their SDCC sketch cards. I personally am not completely sold on the practice, I much prefer sketch cards from licensed sets, and I think of these more like PSC's.

Looks like they are definitely treated more like PSC's, but I'd be afraid to put my company logo on them.

They are some really awesome looking cards though.

I'm not sure I buy that legal arguement...

Great sketches here though.

Yea, they are still on official cards with company logos. So it seems a bit shady. The art is great obvs, just ya know...

I found two packs and got a Glebe Spiderman and Rhiannon Owens Wolvie...

But then the dealer (at SDCC) subsequently told me that he had 20 more of these sketches that he bought directly from Breygent, and had the unsealed envelopes. He pulled them out for me because I told him there was a particular artist I was looking for. He said he actually though keeping them, versus selling them for $65 would be better...

Seemed a bit shady so I passed on the sketch he found for me... and have not been able to find any more of these packs at SDCC...

That sentence is confusing. He was going to keep them but decided to sell? Was he charging more, what was shady about it? Were your two packs from him?

There is a sketch of the artist John Romita by the same person who did the Batman you have on Ebay now, but that seller didn't list the actual artist.
Tom posted the artist list (subject to change) at the NSU board, and you can quickly eliminate most of these because they have distinctive styles/signatures. After that, see who's left and google some of their work to find a sig-match. Good luck!

Achilleas Kokkinakis
Chris Hoffman
Carolyn Edwards
Gabe Farber
Helga Wojik
J.D.Seeber
Jennifer Allyn
Keith Carter
Kris Penix
Kristin Allen
Lak Lim
Melike Acar
Mick & Matt Glebe
Rhiannon Owens
Scott Rorie
Tim Levandoski
Tim Shay
Veronica O'Connell
Wu Wei

Also, we got 4 packs on Thursday, and were very happy with the subjects/artists, but I'll do a break thread of my own later today. We left the last 2 packs he had, but upon returning to the Breygent booth early Friday, they'd already sold. Should've bought them on Thursday...
