Smh exactly what I was thinking I'm pretty upset with the trade...seems like they were making a trade to simply make a trade Rich Hill nor Reddick make the Dodgers a World Series team

Ohh yea, so much so that his ERA is up 90 points in the last 10 starts. Dude can't be touched.

I'd say Urias, Deleon and already Alvarez are ahead of Holmes. Montas was a big piece

LOL dude, I'm sorry, but when you say things like this it just cracks me up.

Sale has been a stud at times, but he's been very hittable lately, and I seriously doubt it's been by his choice.

Those 3 are definitely their top pitching prospects. I would think they would be very hesitant to move any of them

Yay we got a semi-decent left handed reliever! Now all we need is possibly another reliever and I feel we are good to make a deep playoff run.

Rich Hill if healthy is by far the best player traded so far. And that package isn't near as big as the Miller or Chapman packages. Reddick also an above average player. Like it for the A's too though.

Rosenthal: Source: #Brewers want 2B Dilson Herrera in any deal with #Mets for Lucroy. Travis d’Arnaud also would be in package. Still under discussion.

but

Heyman: hear mets lucroy talk is on "life support." so it's rangers plus potential mysteries

No way Dodgers are done with Puig still on the team. That's exciting and scary. Puig/verdugo/deleon/and another For Sale?

His ERA was like 1.65 after his first 9 starts. I don't know what to tell you if you think that pace was sustainable. It was pretty obvious that he was going to regress.

I'm going to laugh so hard when Boston trades all their prospects for him and BostonNut goes crazy.

You also have to take into consideration the fact that Miller was under contract for 2 more years after this year, so they had to give up more for him.

Wonder if the Cubs are still in it.

Boy I hope not. Chris Sale and Kershaw with Urius in 2 years is not fair.

He was originally drafted by the Twins. Hopefully becomes a reliable bullpen guy, maybe closer? Also don't know too much about him

That's kinda interesting. Just looked quick at his stats, didn't look great in 2014 but looks like he's pitched well this year. Not overly excited, but not upset we traded Abad by any means either

Probably flip Puig for a mid tier starter at this point. Maybe Puig plus a prospect for Matt Moore. Kind of a change of scenary trade, gives Rays a chance (even if small) to get a big bat.

April ERA - 1.66
May ERA - 2.88
June ERA - 3.93
July ERA - 4.85

That's not regression. That's sucking.

Rosenthal: Source: #Cubs discussing a trade for #Angels’ Joe Smith. Considering number of other possibilities as well.

Not abad deal for the Red Sox. Next step is to DFA Layne.
