So this pretty much puts an end to the surprise autos, huh? I guess that means people will stop buying dozens upon dozens hoping they'll get an surprise auto and use that money to just buy the autos direct. Lower print runs for the base is good I suppose.

Say the Ichiro 3,000 was the best 1/1, then Ortiz auto, and bryant (just because it's Kris Bryant and the Cubs).

I agree. I do think the Mookie was the worst relic of the bunch- I hope to grab one sub-$100 one day!

Well, my buying decision was made a bit easier. I had a choice of 1 /10 Ortiz or 1 /25 and 1 /49 for virtually the same cost. The /10 was sold out when I got to the confirm page. I got a /99 as well. Just went for the /99 Sanchez and 5 of each base. I'm glad I'm just a collector and not a flipper.

One of the Betts /99 went for $101.

So basically with relics/autos, it appears the 1/1 is sold within an eyelash of release, then goes the /10s, then the /99s and /49 and /25 hang out a bit longer until being purchased.

Yes I was only close on one Gold and I was refreshing every few seconds...if you go for the gold you almost miss out on the reds. Still haven't sold a one of these and seeing what they are going for at auction it's best to only buy what you want to keep. Though I think the 1/99 will do well eventually. those and the ones that match team colors....as for the 1/1's you need the perfect buyer I think.

It's just a different color and yes lower printed but not a real demand for them it seems. I think people (fans) go cool a piece of history I want it...give me the lowest priced one not the funny colored one with some foiled numbers. With that said I did buy one of each of the Sanchez save I couldn't see paying for the red one when the others looked so much better.
