True. But last year the Cubs weren't even expected to make the playoffs, so there wasn't much pressure on them.

This year the pressure on the Cubs is huge...

Will be an exciting series with Giants who have proven they are the measuring stick with the titles over the last 5 years.
Cubs in 4 in this one.

I think every time the Cubs get into the playoffs the expectations are huge. But I know what you're saying. Gonna be tough, gotta play the game and not worry about what you're "expected" to do. One game at a time.

Cubs end another playoff losing streak. Only this time it didn't take 4 appearances over 12 years

Were you there I take it?

That had to have been a blast. And the excitement when Javy hit that.

It was tough to see that it went in the basket. Most people in my section thought it was caught. I actually called it in the 7th that Javy would hit a solo bomb for the win. Can't wait for tomorrow night! I always think I should sell my tickets, but I never can. Too many good times.

So cool. Glad we got that first win. Javy is the man!

Only slightly less nervous about this series now.

Somehow it feels colder than yesterday even though the temp is higher. Not as much wind though so maybe they'll fly out more.

Alright Cubs fans....two questions:

1) Who would you rather play in the NLCS?

2) If the Cubs win the NLCS, who would you rather play in the WS?

I think they could beat the Dodgers or the Nats, so I'm picking Nats for two reasons - no West coast game times for sure and to see if Joe walks Harper again.

Would rather the Indians in the WS since it's closer to drive and Toronto's bats could be scary if the wind is blowing out.

I hear ya on the west coast games. I have to work early, so these last 2 nights were brutal. I could barely stay awake at work today.

Agree with wanting Cleveland. The thought of the Blue Jays winning the World Series makes me ill, there's not a single player on team I like, and their fans are obnoxious. At least with Cleveland, they have Lindor.

Cleveland. Only because then wed get to see the two teams with the longest WS drought battle it out

It's a really tough question honestly. Dodgers (Seager, J. Turner, Kershaw, Hill, Jansen, Maeda) Nats (Murphy, Harper, Melancon, Roark, Scherzer, Rendon, T. Turner).

I'm going to have to say the Dodgers. If you look at the Nats hitters vs. the Dodgers hitters through the postseason the Nats are hitting much better. And I believe both teams pitching can be beat, either way you're going to have to play tough pitching so I'll take the team whose bats aren't as hot.

The Jays are en fuego, I'll take the Indians. Outside of Kluber their pitching is more hittable.

I am hoping for the Dodgers, I want no part of watching Daniel Murphy against the Cubs is this year's playoffs. Last year was enough for me! Go Cubs!

The thought of Dusty Baker beating the Cubs in the NLCS sickens me... On the other hand Dusty would most likely get completely out managed and lose the series himself. That being said, I would rather play the Dodgers...

I'll take the Indians in the WS...

You win the old ticket lotto? Congrats! I'll be at both games as well. Really thought I'd be able to sell one game this time lol. Nope. Too much fun.
