Default My First Complete Autograph Set...Finished!!

So every year I pick a Panini Immaculate Set to make. I like the looks of the cards and with no logos they can usually be picked up much cheaper than doing a Topps set.

The last two years (2014 & 2015) I had completed the Immaculate Accolades Materials sets. They are game-used sets full of HOFers and with the lowest s/n being 5 it made for a fun challenge.

This year, when I saw the Immaculate checklist, I targeted this set for a number of reasons. One, I wanted to do an Auto set. Two, I wanted it to be predominately HOFers. Three, it had to be on-card autos. Ding, ding, ding...we have a winner. The Immaculate Marks set hit all of those points.

The checklist has 24 cards with the lowest s/n being 25 so I knew it would be feasible. It is also a very clean design, which I really liked.

So far I have 19 of the cards in hand (scans below). Three of the cards are redemptions...Cal Ripken, Roger Clemens, and Bruce Sutter. I have acquired and redeemed each of the three and waiting patiently.

Whitey Herzog is on the checklist, but I am almost positive that it never got made because I have not seen one yet.

That leaves only Barry Bonds /25 left for me to acquire. I am also looking for a Chipper Jones /49. I have a Chipper, but it is the Red version /25.

Let me know what you think.

Nice looking set to target! Too bad the surfaces are so glossy that some of the auto's bubbled. Will you try to replace those once it's completed?

No...I would not expect to either get the auto back period or in any better shape than the ones I already have.

Looks great. Majority of them have nice signatures too! Can't say that for today's players. Chipper is my favorite.

Great looking set..

Here's a set that I did a few years ago. I'm waiting on 1 redemption from Panini.
I liked these as well since they are all on card auto's.

I loved that set to when it came out but seemed like it might be a little pricey.

Just got the card from Panini today. I only need the two redemptions left (Clemens and Sutter) as well as a Bonds.

Just got the Clemens redemption. Now all I am waiting for is the Sutter redemption and a Bonds.

Nice, having the HOF logo on those cards totally offsets the lack of team logos. Was the Tom Seaver even made?

Beautiful set, OP! Good luck with the Bonds and Chipper (though, to me, the set counts if you keep the /25 in there, though I understand the completionist aspect too), definitely let us know when you chase them down.

I just got the Barry today. I now have purchased all of the cards in the set. I am still waiting for the Bruce Sutter redemption.

Very happy to complete my first auto set ever.
