I just don't think he makes any sense for that team. He's toxic. However, I'd be thrilled if they signed him.

Still, what value does he have when he can't shoot, can't really do anything without the ball in his hands and hasn't played a lick of defense in years?

(Other than you seem to be a supporter of his for what he did in Boston nearly a decade ago)

I love Rondo as a player but I'm worried about him in the locker room. I've heard from more than one source that he always thinks he is the smartest man in the organization....and he acts like it. It can't just be a coincidence that he has problems everywhere he goes.

Kevin Love is hurt. He can't run up and down the court. All of his shots are flat. He needs to sit out the all star game and maybe take a couple weeks to rest.

It's just hard to watch him play right now

I was noticing the same thing. He looks awful right now. Rebounding and nothing else.

Cavs are fortunate that Kanter is out for OKC.

Seriously. How much damage do you think he is going to do on a team with Lebron, Kyrie and Love? How much shooting will he do with Korver and those 3 and Frye? How much nonsense will they let happen in the locker room? He would literally be the 3rd PG depending on how you view Lebron as a PG.

I dont know who Cavs fans or even yourself expect with the little amount of assets and money they have to use to get a back up PG.

There was a pretty thorough profile on him years back and it didn't paint a very flattering picture. Can't remember if it was SI or ESPN or what. They discussed in detail that he is very intelligent and as a result tends not to respect coaches and players that he doesn't think are on his level. Recently I heard someone (Kristen Ledlow I think) say something quite similar.

At this point Rondo doesn't make sense anywhere. All he can do is pass, he's a net negative on the court.

LeBron might have gone a little over the top but he isn't wrong... and he didn't even mention Barkley getting DUI's and other issues.

Charles has become this larger than life silly personality with the NBA, which entertains us all, but he's also done a lot of stuff that people just choose to forget... and LeBron was tired of Barkley spouting off (not just about this or about him) and no one remembering what Barkley was. It's just funny because your old drunk Uncle, that everyone loves, is the one saying it.

Is LeBron whiny? Yes

Does Barkley get a free pass? Yes

So it all came to a head. LeBron probably went too aggressive but what he said is totally valid.

LeBron is clearly frustrated, but what he said about Barkley was absolutely true. I love what he said and I respect him for standing up for himself.

I don't blame him for defending himself, but I do find it funny that just 7 months ago, he wanted credit for "always taking the high road" and not getting involved in stuff like this, yet now he does it lol. Reminds me a little of him saying "I wear #6 because nobody should wear #23 now." Then he switches back to #23 after looking good for saying that lol. I have learned to take everything lebron says though with a grain of salt. He knows how to look like the good guy and say the right things, but when things get tough, he always reverts back to his true self.

Agreed.

Lebron super whiny, but Lebron also SUPER right. I am glad Lebron laid into Barkley. You dont see superstars go back at announcers like this. Its refreshing.

Cleveland Cavaliers to work out free agents Kirk Hinrich, Mario Chalmers and Lance Stephenson

Some decent names out there... I think Jarrett Jack is also a Free Agent

Again keeping in mind this is purely for a backup spot as the Cavs have an open roster slot on the bench. Lets not act like they are trying to find a major piece. They need someone that can play a dozen minutes.

Yeah this is frustrating. I was finally coming around on Love, but how many games now has he had to leave early because of his back? It doesn't seem like its getting any better. If he needs to have something done for it, I'd prefer he get it done sooner rather than later. If he falls off for another playoffs/finals, there is no coming back from that imo.
