Boot Strap Brewery in Niwot, CO. Probably one of the best IPAs I've ever had. 7.2%

Is there anyone in San Diego or near a Modern Times Brewery? I am looking for Golden Pineapple which can't be found easily - and definitely not in Canada. Willing to pay a premium for a couple of cans if it is found and can be shipped!

I can't seem to find the "what are you drinking?" thread so posting in here. Has anyone tried the New Belgium Hemperer yet? I have some now.

Spaten Optimator has not been mentioned. That is a travesty.

Anyone in New England who likes craft beer, take a trip to Treehouse, you won't regret it

Thanks for sharing Tones! I do like the new style of New England IPAs - hazy, unfiltered, dank smelling.

I haven't had the purple haze yet but the other one's are good too, I drank 2 of the andygator's in the 25 ounce bottles and trust me that'll give you a nice buzz.

Just about only drink Labatt Blue now. I like the tastes of the some of the craft beers but they aren't meant to be consumed the way I prefer to drink beer lol.

Most give me headaches after a few. Was in Detroit for the Tigers Game yesterday and went to one of the local bars and had Motor City Ghetto Blaster. Only bought it because of the name and it was pretty good.

Safe to assume this is 24 pages of everyone posting the most esoteric beer brands possible?

Yes - you drinkers of common beer can just shuffle on out of here. If it isn't at least $9/bottle, produced in small quantities and available only in particular localities for the lifespan of drosophila melanogaster, GTFO!

I don't drink but I bought some of the Iron Maiden beer because of the kick-ass label, they have regular Trooper w/ 4.7 alc. and the 6.66!

Surly Furious. For anyone visiting Minnesota the taproom is incredible during summer, it's just a mile east from Gophers football stadium

Exactly - Bud, Miller, Coors, PBR are more like beer flavored water. Cheap crap that you can pound to get drunk if you want, but not much to enjoy.

My preferred national beer is Guinness or micro brew ales/lagers if I want something lighter. Alas, I don't drink beer much at all anymore. I get acid reflux with it. I have had probably 20-25 beers total in the last 12 months.
