You questioned something Patriot related, when you do that a Tom Brady hair follicle dies and a Patriot Fanboy has a minor seizure and can only cure it with a pro patriot post.

I actually thought the reason the FBI got involved was because it crossed over the border into another country (at least that's what espn----the worldwide leader in sports says)

This

On their website they have a list of things they investigate.

Organized crime is also possible since it is such a high priced item.

http://www.sbnation.com/2017/3/20/14...-bowl-patriots
March 20, 2017 - Brady’s Super Bowl LI and Super Bowl XLIX jerseys are recovered with help from the FBI
The NFL confirmed Jay Glazer’s report that league security, working in tandem with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, had recovered Brady’s missing jerseys. The jerseys were found in the possession of a person who had posed as a member of the international media, according to the league’s statement.

One might think the FBI would have more pressing issues to attend to, but it had to become involved because the theft of Brady’s jerseys was an international issue.

Surely you are aware there are different branches of the FBI, right?

Surely you have not been reading my posts as to assume what you said.

Dumb comments.

I loved the notion of him having his credentials suspended 4 games, lol.

Dude seems like an amateur klutz.

Typically with these high priced unique collectibles the assailants already have purchasers overseas where they're locked in private collections never to be seen again.

This guy just wanted them for his man cave. Nice.

Short answer is no. Lol I could think of a million better things for the FBI to be doing. Man times are tough these days in the ole USA.

They have different units that handle different types of crimes and investigations. There isn't a multi million dollar ponzi scheme every day of the year. This fits right into the FBI jurisdiction since it's across country borders. Having better things to do has nothing to do with anything.

Just throwing this out there.... But I just watched the end of super bowl 51 on my DVR (yes I still have that and 49 saved on my box) and I'm confused by the green stains on the shirt they found in Mexico. After SB 51 he did not have those stains on it. This guy wear it and roll around the field himself? Thoughts?

Never mind the green stains are from 49. Case closed

I am just amazed that this guy, or group pulled this off several times. After the first one, you'd think the NFL security would toughen up a bit .

Glad Brady will get his two jerseys back, the GOAT deserves nothing less. I felt bad for him when his last one went missing.

This is turning into quite the affair.
This guy has been going to superbowls for at least the last decade or more, and stealing game used memorebelia for his personal man-town.
I read an article yesterday claiming he has/had everything from the Brady jerseys to Von Millers cleats to Kurt Warners jersey, and that was just the tip of the iceberg.

The media outlet he works for didnt even know he was at and/or covering the superbowl, lmao.. he must just add the costs to his expense report, and they pay him without validating anything.
I cant wait to see a full list of items determined to have been stolen.

I would like to see what security measure the stadium, the teams and NFL put in place after this.

Lockers to have locked doors now? Finger print needed to unlock it?
Only players allowed at lockers immediate area, all others must stand 5 feet away?
Security cameras placed above lockers?

May sound silly and it does, kind of, but since this got so much attention and it is TB we are talking about here - really would like to see how they change security measures.

Bingo on the above, its just silly that people would say the FBI has better things to do then hunt for stolen items valued at hundreds of thousands of dollars. Thats exactly what some of the branches of the FBI exist for...

FBI Intelligence Branch.
FBI National Security Branch.
FBI Criminal, Cyber, Response, and Services Branch.
FBI Science and Technology Branch.
FBI Information and Technology Branch.
FBI Human Resources Branch.
ETC

Exactly.

I mean...is the FBI worthy enough to go hunt for King Tut's Golden Undies should they ever get stolen?

It's amazing people are okay with priceless, historical artifacts disappearing to never be seen again, lest someone step in and hunt for them...

I'm glad they found it, for historical sake. He may be the best ever and one of the greatest comebacks Ive witnessed. My concern is that these "people" have access to player's lockers, what happens if/when someone's health becomes a liability? (Meds swapped, poisoned, drugged, etc). Maybe that seems far fetched to some, but this thief was obviously immoral, so who's to say someone worse isn't brushing shoulders with these guys regularly?

Yeah - I agree.

Well it's good they found it. And more shockingly how the man obtained access to the locker room. Did you guys see the video i posted above that highlights him as he enters the locker room right behind Belichick posing as one of his entourage? At least now the NFL will or should tighten up security.
