I thought the same thing, you're talking about a $600K condo. But sometimes people spread themselves so thin that, all of a sudden, $1-$2K cash is tough to scrape up.

That is a reoccurring address. Pretty sure mom and/or dad live there.

I don't know if humor was my first reaction. Houdini is out a pretty large chunk of change. Anger is probably the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this.

Wow, sorry to hear this Houdini. On the bright side, this will undoubtedly haunt Ben for the rest of his days. Google remembers.

I'm obviously just connecting humor to the scummy, aliasing PJ's "apology" messages/lies that came only after getting outed. It is indeed humorous that more often than not, "remorse" only arises after being publically exposed. My "first reaction" was essentially, "nice, a scammer got caught, and caught hard." Is that more acceptable? I'm not insensitive to what transpired here. If you could just not imply I'm making light of the theft/victim itself, yeah, that'd be great.

Well it's something. Sounds like this guy has some serious money control issues.

From another member? He's not settling his own debts?

yeah this seems like a terrible idea. i understand wanting to cut out the middle man, but the buyer should really just pay the seller, and the seller turn around and pay Houdini.

now, if the buyer pays houdini and the seller decides to pull more shenanigans, there will be problems. unless the buyer is paying for all of the cards the scammer hit in the breaks? in which case that makes sense.

Wait what? He was able to sell to a member here as a scammer? AND you're allowing him to have the other member pay you? I hope he's buying some of the cards from the break.

I already shared that with the 3rd party. He won't move forward if he is at risk.

It was an earlier transaction that had not yet been completed.

did you receive the money from roger? that 225 was for cards of mine he still had in his posession from previous breaks.. can you please send me 2 invoices one for 350 and one for 353 so I can clear it up. I have to pay with visa gift cards so thats the easiest way for me
No, no money from rcspur and honestly I have recommended that he not send it for 180 days.

If I send an invoice, are you going to file on me later?
file???? I do not know what you are talking about??

and why may I ask would you recommend he not? These are cards of mine that are already in his posession that he has agreed to purchase rather than send to me.
Because, as you have amply proven, you will use paypal to steal money from others.

After 180 days, I don't think you could file a claim and steal the money anymore. So that is the only time I would feel comfortable accepting the money from rcspur.

What happens if he pays me and a month from now you file a claim on him? Then he has to ask me to give him back the money.

I realize none of this has ever matter to you in the past. You used your anonymity to just coast on by while others had to to pay your debts or recoup the losses you created.

This time (at least your 7th account) you scammed me and I was able to use the admin account controls to track you down and expose identity and your scamming history.

However, who pays all these people back? If I get my money, what do they get?

had to file a pp claim to get money back, no card & no communication, beware! Buyer sarahmc143(270) 01-13-2015

He had this kind of feedback, but made it into your break?
I guess you learned this after the fact.
I wouldn't sell him a single card with that feedback, going back years.

I'm assuming those were feedback from his banned accounts...

Damn at this point I'd be taking straight cash thru the mail. Not even giving him a chance to file any type of claim.

how? in this situation the scammer is the seller (he gave rcspur cards and asked him to send payment to you). So he won't be able to file any claim.

No. He bought spots in a break.

Breaker agreed to keep the cards for $x and scammer asks him to pay me instead.

So, breaker pays me and the scammer files on the break payment.

Then what?

(Breaker should refund scammer and scammer should pay me directly.)

For what it's worth, he stopped communicating after that last message and has not paid the $703 he promised to pay by last Friday and then pushed to today. Like I said, I am not holding my breath.

I bought the cards. Houdini and I have an agreement on the payment and when that will be. Houdini has removed the amount from my deal from Ben's debt. Ben just needs to pay the remaining balance.

Just to add to this. I tried shipping these same cards to him and they were returned. He never updated his address after repeated attempts.
