Best Break for Under $150?
Recently getting back into things and I've got an urge to crack some wax. Mostly into chrome and prospects but I am open to breaking something that can land me solid trade bait.
Any suggestions?

Archives blaster boxes at your local store or the bowmans. Archives have been a lot of fun for me and I've only opened 3 blasters and 5 rack packs, producing some nice cards so far.. Bowman produce some nice hits as well.

I like the design of 2017 Finest but at $140 after tax for a box, it looks like most people are taking an absolute bath.

No hobby box recommendations. I find that interesting, but understandable.

I've done pretty well with the 2017 Bowman Retail 22 Card Value packs myself, and I never do well in retail, but those have been surprisingly worth the money.

I just picked up two Hobby boxes of 2015 Bowman Draft for under $150 including shipping. You have the chance to hit a Benintendi, Tucker, Happ, Rodgers or Swanson. Hit any of those three and you made almost all you're money back with one card.
I agree with other posts above; 2016 & especially 2017 pricing is CRAZY right now. I picked up a 2017 Bowman Jumbo case for $1140 when it first launched. Got sick then had to travel for work and never got the chance to open it. They are now sitting at $1700 a case. Think I'm just going to sell it rather than bust it at those prices. You can also pick up a 2016 Bowman Draft Jumbo box (three auto) for about $150 still. Lots of nice hits in there as well. Post whatever you get, I love seeing what people are breaking and good luck! |

i would buy any 2015 chrome or 2015 topps series 2 and update
