Apparently we can keep Smart, Bradley and Crowder if we do a sign & trade with Utah, trading away Rozier and Demetrius Jackson, and stashing Yabusele for another year

"During a break in Celtics-Spurs summer league game tonight, a Utah fan screamed at Danny Ainge to trade Avery Bradley to the Jazz and noted Boston owed them after signing away Gordon Hayward."

You can say a lot of things about us jazz fans. You can't say that we lack passion.

Current rumors are a sign & trade around Crowder. Should we swap Logomen?

Yeah, I don't know what the Jazz would add, they probably still feel gutted. Can't imagine them offering much, maybe a lottery protected first. Teams may not be offering Ainge a ton seeing he needs to drop salary so if the offers are comparable just throw the Jazz a bone lol Better for them that Crowder goes out West anyway.

Still wish the Spurs had something realistic to offer for Crowder but cap and a late 1st can be beat pretty easily.

Must be something bigger brewing. Celtics are not giving Crowder away with that contract.

Favors would be hard to fit in cuz of salary reasons and the Jazz will need him to return to form again after an injury plagued year. He may be their best offensive player right now if he's healthy.

Still no idea what the Jazz can add besides a pick.

So, you guys think that after Boston gets Hayward without having the cap for it, they will then do the Celtics a favor and trade for Crowder AND give them an asset? Really?

Agree, and if they do give him away this looks really bad on Ainge. Of course, I'd be fine with it as a Wizards fan.

Im pretty sure the celtics are doing the jazz a favor, they certainly could find another team to take crowder and his glorious contract, they dont owe the jazz anything

I think, given that even if it's a S&T the contract stays the same, that both teams could be doing the other a favor if:

- Crowder is traded for nothing
- Crowder is trade for a real asset (future first rounder)

It's a tough situation. I think a win-win situation is if the Celtics trade Bradley/Smart instead of Crowder. Or just trade Crowder to a different team that would give you assets.

Trading Crowder for nothing is not happening. That is hurting the Celtics, who cares about the Jazz's feelings.

Why would Hayward want to hurt his future team because his former teams beat writers are crying?

They need to be shopping Crowder for a big. We still need help at the rim, a true protector down low.

Marc Gasol's name is being floated around as a trade target for a few teams and I'd love to see Boston get in on that action. We are getting overfull at the 2/3 spots with Hayward, Crowder, Brown, Tatum, Rozier, Smart, Bradley. Someone needs to go to play with Horford/Zizic since Olynyk/Zeller/Amir are all gone.

I'm very surprised they haven't already agreed on a trade... thought something would be done by now
