Basically know word for word every single word to each episode lol its crazy how hardcore I am into this show.
i watched every episode within the last few years. that and Pete and Pete were probably my favorite Nick shows. Salute Your Shorts was ok too, but not quite as good as P&P

My obsession with AYAOTD is crazy.. I've even got personalized character autographs. I explained that I was THE super fan and they wrote me back with autographs. So awesome! !!! Gary and Frank both my 2 favorites from the original midnight society.

I also love salute your shorts & P&P. Have them on DVD also. Wish they'd release season 3 of P&P on dvd.. contract issues or something

This movie could have been a classic and hidden gem, but instead it's just a really really fun movie to experience. Don't be afraid to get up and go to the bathroom or go to the kitchen to grab some food or to glance at your phone. It might even be better if you're slightly distracted because it will allow you to gloss over the plot gaps and focus on the mood and the blood even more.
I need to stop reading the hype around these movies because your assessment has been spot on with what I've read about the movie. It's always a variation of "could've been great IF". I didn't get around to watching it yet, but will still give it a go.

By the way, thanks Clarka for posting Fluke Man. The lone X-Files episode that has stuck with me to this day. One of the better creature designs ever.

I liked the first one a lot, the second one isn't bad but the third one was pretty dumb IMO. They were definitely going downhill with that series.

It was interesting I thought with the mix of sci fi and horror.

I also watched the human centipede 1 and 3 pretty dumb movies

My daughter loves Are you Afraid of the Dark (Too bad Amazon Prime removed it from it's line up). She's also recently been enjoying Eeerie Indiana. Yet her favorite is Deadtime Stories.

On a side note I've always been a huge fan of Salute your Shorts fan. In fact Donkey Lips (Michael Bower) is youtube's very own Mikey Raider (Raider Central). Last year he ran a Fantasy Football league...Guess Who won? Me, Myself and I. LoL. He's pretty legit...sent my daughter a autograph picture, Salute your Shorts Blu-ray, etc.

yeah bro, i had to just download the season 3 episodes so i could watch them. my favorite from that season is the pool episode and the Wee Wee See haha.

and Dan- i forgot to mention that an episode of Eerie Indiana also was unsettling to me as a kid. The episode where the kid got headgear and then could hear the dogs talking really made me afraid of dogs for a while.

to add to my list of unsettling things, one later film got me when I was in high school. The House on Haunted Hill remake really got me at the part where the news reporter got killed. Seeing something far away and then having it fast forward right in front of your face really freaked me out. Didn't help that I saw that movie in a nearly empty theater haha.

Does anyone remember a TV series from the late 80's (I believe Fox) about a werewolf? I remember watching a scene in which a werewolf was hunting someone at a church. That's about all I remember about the show...but it gave me the Heebie-jeebies, yet fascinating me at the same time.

I don't believe anyone mentioned this movie, but The Fly (80's) was one of the few horror films my parents let me watch (Yet they didn't let me watch Jurassic Park...does that make sense? LoL).

Took my daughter to go see "Wish Upon". I knew before hand to lower my expectations...Someone described the movie as a mix between Duff and Final Destination. And we'll...that's a perfect description. It's not a good or bad movie. Young girls will probably enjoy it.

I'd like to see a full version made of the short Zygote. Has an Alien/Thing feel to it. Nothing like a monster made up of a bunch of different body parts.

Can someone help me think of the movie this scene belongs to?

- A woman in a bathtub
- A green humanoid creature (perhaps with a sucking mouthpart, maybe not)
- The creature kills the woman and the camera focuses on the blood spiraling the drain
- I believe a wedding ring is the focus of a shot
- I also believe the monster looks at itself in the bathroom mirror after killing her

Early 90s possibly 80s or 70s. It was one of those scenes I stumbled upon as a kid flipping channels late at night.

Could have possibly been Swamp Thing

I don't know if there's a bathroom murder scene though

Yep, I remember the show. Came out in 1987 and was shown on Saturday nights. I remember Hungry Howie's had a promotional tie in with the TV show. It was a "werewolf survival kit" that contained some show branded merchandise. Well, I was just a kid and when I heard about the kit I really thought that it would contain a real silver bullet. I begged and begged my mom to take me to get one but she never would. It wasn't till a few months later that I found out what was actual in the kit from an older kid that lived down the street who had one. But man, that was a good show back then.

Toxic Avenger? I remember seeing the cartoon first and being utterly shocked when I saw the actual movie.

Anyone remember the following movie (I'm sure I can google it, but this is more fun).

Late 80's movie about a possessed scarecrow. I want to say the town simpleton ends up being the possessed scarecrow. And his name was something hillbilly-ish, yet catchy. As a kid I remember my friends and I would tell each other "catchy name I can't remember" is coming for you.

I believe the simpleton actor was the antagonist in the classic movie "Darkman".

Terrible news for us horror fans as George Romero has reported to have passed away. Such an amazing legacy left behind.

while i didn't really enjoy his later movies, his original trilogy of zombie movies were phenomenal. death of a pioneer that created one of the big movie monsters we know today.
