The way Judge is looking, I think AL MVP is Altuves to lose!

Still can't believe nobody but me is mentioning Chris Sale's triple crown for pitching right now....

He is a top 5 MVP candidate. Likely top 3. Once he gets closer to 300 strikeouts the media will blow up the story and we will all be talking about it like we did with Kershaw. Patience my friend.

If Sale was still a south sider there would be a huge Homerun thread about him so count your blessings.

i'm not pushing for Sale because I had cards of him or anything, I just think it's very easy to forget some of these other guys.

Altuve is having an MVP season no doubt, so is Judge, but Sale is winning the Triple Crown in pitching for the AL right now, which is pretty awesome. He has 211 K's, 2nd place....177.

For a pitcher to win an MVP they have to have an unreal season (Sale is) and there has to be a weak class of hitters.

When Kershaw won he was dominant, but the next two guys were...

Stanton who batted .288 with 38 homers (6.5 WAR)

MCutchen who batted .314 with 25 homers (6.3 WAR)

I think it will be very tough for Sale to beat Judge and Altuve. Whether it's right or wrong, there are plenty of voters who won't vote for a pitcher since they have their own award. It's an uphill battle and Sale is behind both in terms of WAR.

None of that takes away from how crazy good Sale has been.

I hit over .700 once in a 10 game season but that was well over a decade ago, I'm also 5'10".

More like delusional, always fantasizing about home runs and him being a legend in the making.

Going in there and stirring the nest frequently what do you expect? It's no more crazy there than it is in here or any other fan positive thread about a player. I enjoy the Judge, Harper, Trout and Correa threads... but I would sure like it if others didn't coming in looking to just stir crap up, then act all innocent like and that they are the normal ones, and everyone else is crazy...

I was thinking the same thing! LOL!!!

Johnny Trinno: [giving the toast at Maz's wedding] So to recap, throughout it all, there's been a lot of laughter, and a few tears. But in the end the clouds parted, and the good Lord himself decided it was meant to be. And that's how I finished the regular season batting .706.

The actor who plays Trinno is a close friend of mine. I have been playing softball with him for 20+ years. The character in the movie is loosely based on his antics on the softball field over those 20 years.

Very underrated comedy movie IMO.
