Alex Lagina. I would throw him head first down 10x. Anytime this guy has lines or his own little moment I know we have entered the "C story" of the episode.

As episodes this season goes, I thought this one was the most pointless...

1) Nothing got flushed out but mud, a bone and some mucky wood

2) The inflatable device they were using popped...wasted storyline

3) Do I really need to watch ppl research? This episode was a yawner..

*next weeks looks decent, as it appears they found some sort of box drain...but History channel likes to bait you in like that.

I will hand it to Rick and Marty and the History channel. At least there not "Storage War-ing" us and planting a bunch of crap in storage sheds that we all know were not legitimatly found inside. This is a real search for treasure and it's tedious, monotonous and sometimes boring. They try to jazz it up sometimes and put lipstick on a pig, but this is what a real search looks like and I can appreciate that.

I admire your threshold for pain.

Oh yea, that bone is going to be animal defiantly. And yes, these poor guys really need a breakthrough. However if they do get that, and pull up any gold, the history channel will re-sign this show for another decade probably.

Sometimes what they show is setting up for the next show. the 12 minute preview they do thursday make you think they find a box drain and a lot of coconut fiber. Of course, it is probably not a box drain, they probably find nothing (as usual).

I saw that and it does look cool. I hope that is the box drain, but this show is all "shadows and dust" so who knows.

You're watching the Curse of Oak Island!
Which means you are a cat in an empty apartment!
Seriously at this point anyone still watching should be clinically evaluated.

Well that was a sorry season ending. The history channel should be ashamed of themselves for hyping that up so much. It's not the Lagina's fault that they didn't find something this season, but the History channel blatantly lied in the promos this season. Tough to watch. It'll probably get renewed again purely because of tv ratings...but yea, there's nothing down there.

I'm a sucker as well. My wife makes fun of me for watching, well, pretty much nothing.

But I grew up with Goonies and I love me a good treasure hunt. So I'll waste another season holding my breath.

I'd rather watch any of Josh Gates' shows instead. I find him entertaining and interesting.

Every time I see this thread bumped, I fall for it. Is this when they find something?
Every time...

I'm not going to try and come up with anything additional. This covers my opinions perfectly as well.

They actually found something would have been news. At most find some old junk that got buried couple hundred years ago or couple coins.
