Many of those $8 and $9 cards are mine. When you choose a card, you see an ID. One part is the card ID in the COMC database, the other is the consigner ID. I'm 7k6. So far, not many buyers. Are you going to clean me out tonight like you promised?

I would actually create a COMC account if you want to buy my cards. COMC is actually charging another $0.25 on top of my COMC price on eBay. So, an $8 "eBay" card is listed by me for $7.75 on COMC. And, you can get my cards for 90% of my listed price. If you want to take delivery, you would still pay $3.99 plus $.25 for each card if you don't want them individually top loaded. Top loaders are an additional $.25. If you ship 100 cards, you can get a $5 discount.

Personally, I am using COMC as mostly offsite storage. I'm sending my extras there. If they sell, they sell, but they really haven't unless it's a hot player.

Don't get me wrong I see the appeal of COMC...I just won't be using it to sell. I have a COMC account but again very cumbersome to use when having a drink, watching the game and surfing eBay.

It's why I wouldn't use it...and the COMC doesn't show other eBay auctions for easy reference. I usually buy the 5-card bundles for $29.99. I keep two cards for the base set, the rest are reserved for grading or COMC. I price my cards at $8.25 on eBay so it appears to be $8 on COMC. When you purchase my card for $8.25 + $3.99 + $.25. I get 80% of the $8 asking price or $6.40. That would basically mean I break even. At $29.99, it comes out to be $6 per card. COMC charges a $.30 processing fee and I factor in about $.05 per card for postage, protective supplies, and my time. I don't cash out, but use what I make for additional submissions.

If I did cash out, I would have to price the cards at $10.25 at a minimum. I would make only $8 after eBay and only $6.40 after cashing out. I'm not trying to make any money on my extras unless it's obvious that I can, e.g., Judge cards.

I don't have the time or patience to sell on eBay. I'm basically paying for someone else to do all that work. Unless, you want to be my consignor? That would be an interesting idea.

Nevertheless, there are other issues that may dissuade you from COMC, but I'm ok with them. You can read about those in the COMC forum. My main goals is to send all the cards I don't want to keep at the house offsite.

Taylor auto and I'm in. Turner auto and I'm likely in depending on price. Anything else and I'm probably out unless a Kershaw auto is reasonably priced, which is unlikely. But I haven't purchased and never will purchase a relic-only card.

Think the edges on the Jeter are from where the relic is in the middle? I would be a little miffed with that grade.

I would crack that Jeter out and keep it in a one touch, piss me off looking at the dumb 8.5. Absolutely gorgeous card. It will always be a perfect 10.

Congrats on the 10’s. I would crack out the Jeter. I know some on here have been disappointed when a logo has been cut off. Doesn’t look like it matter on the 8.5 as they have it a 10. A good reference point for all of us.

Oh man...how do you NOT do a Kershaw auto relic for that game??? His dominating performance was the story of the game and I would've loved to have gone after a /5 or /10 Kershaw auto relic in hopes of getting a World Series logo relic piece from Dodger stadium. As noted above, having two different relics available guarantees you nothing nice from the side plates as those lower parallels usually do.

I fear the same, especially now with the emergence of #/5 which wasn't even an available option during the Jeter offerings.
