Maybe he can buddy up with Gio Gonzalez and bring him along after next year. It'd be a shame to have Harper with the Cubs and have no pitching to go with those bats.

To the contrary, I think there is a chance he goes to the Marlins. Jeter is no dummy. He's dumping salary for a good reason, possibly for a potential run at Harper, Bryant, Machado, and don't laugh, TROUT. Not all of them but maybe 2 of them. You saw it here first.

Harper is going to the Cubs. Yankees will spend their money on Kershaw and Machado as those positions are needed much more than another outfielder when they already have 4 + at least 2 good ones in the minors.

Kershaw will stay In LA. No way in his right mind he goes to NY. Maybe Houston because of his TX roots but I don't see NY.
