Screenshot of the card if from PWCC, but its not PWCC selling it.
If this is legit, he'll have to post recent pics.

speaking of which, why can't I find that PSA 10 that sold for 93k on ebay when I do a search? The links directing to that auction don't bring it up either.

Same..
Nor can I find it on any third party ebay "watch" sites, like watchcount.
Like it didnt exist.. whats up with that?

Perhaps the owner of the auction asked ebay to remove any evidence of the listing due to the amount of money involved? I know that might sound like a stretch, but what else could it be? A webpage thats indexed doesnt just disappear without technical intervention.. trust me.

Edit: had a screenshot on my phone for historical purposes.
The exact title in a search returns nothing

And Google's indexing of the listing, however when you click on it, it returns a listing of brady rookies and NOT the actual completed auction.

Edit: if you click on the cached page via the down arrow at the end of the link in GREEN, you can see the list g with 4 days left.

The auction id is 162852973853

Interesting. I want to believe it was legit but I'm waiting for more comparable auctions to be completed before I can feel comfortable knowing that this is the true market arena for these type of cards. The 9.5 helps and the championship ticket auctions help, the PSA 9 that sold recently helps.

I really want to see a PSA 10 contenders go up on a reputable site like the Heritage site or maybe PWCC.

The auction ID brings up NOTHING!!!
Like it never existed on ebay...thank god for google cache.
Ebay had to have removed it. I would like to know why.

wouldn't be the first time. lol.

I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. Doesn't make sense at all. I did a google search to see if I could find any explanation and couldn't find anything.

Very strange. In all likelihood eBay pulled the listing. They may have removed it as a result of it being reported. I reported it on day 1 as being suspicious - sure I'm not the only one. And...as a seller, I've had eBay cancel a transaction after the fact due to "suspicious activity", even though the transaction itself went through without a hitch. In fact - they even refunded my selling fees! Strangest thing.

I sent a message to the eBay seller to see if he is willing to shine any light on what happened here.

Thanks.. was just getting ready to do this after having located the auction id and his user id.
Was just researching any instances of something like this happening in the past.

How much premium does it being "college jersey #'d" add? I sorta don't get it. Anyone think it hits 100k in next 4 hours?

$200k wouldn't surprise me with how that listing has gone so far.

LOL. As a potential bidder, all you can do is bid what it's worth to you and hope the auction is on the level. I certainly wouldn't assume that the fix is in, though. No evidence of that - just pure speculation.

Somewhere between "Zero" and "Zilch".

The seller is a few hours away from me, I offered cash to buy the card shortly after it was listed. They declined my offer and said they expect it to sell for $85,000 and that bidding would be over $50,000 in no time... all of a sudden it jumped from $1,000 to $54,000.

Was 50k your offer, or just an arbitrary number pulled out of thin air by the seller...?
