It's possible that they're prioritizing Upper Deck cards ahead of other customers.
If so, then a workaround might be to add 73 Upper Deck hockey cards to each shipment. |

They do have a deal with Upper Deck to ship E-pack purchased cards. That probably has something to do with it.

Depending on the timeline there could be all kinds of factors contributing to the shipping times. There have been a number of eBay deals this week, which probably slows down the process for those who chose basic shipping.

Have about 400 cards due 4/3 out of a 1000 card submission. Back about 35-45 days ago, I got the email with the blurry pics and alleged damage..about 80-90 cards...which is par for the course.
Today...I get another set of rejects of about 50 more cards....any idea why this was done now about 5 days before due day as opposed to 45 days ago or so.....I have my suspicions...thankfully nothing any good but about 20 of the same type/brand. |

They seem to be processing batches in clumps of similar cards lately rather than processing the whole batch at once. My guess is either this is the first time someone's looked carefully at those particular cards, or that someone double checked a bunch of cards which were previously deemed OK and found the alleged corner dings. On the plus side, they've been so anal about this stuff lately that I'm not even sure a "corner ding" condition note affects the retail price of the card in any way. |

It is a weird system. The cards with flaws end up being given faster processing, so the dinged stuff might show up a month before the NM stuff. Also, batch fees apply, so if you only had 3 or 4 flawed cards in a batch, you pay more per card than if you had 100.
I prefer the old system where they'd charge 5 or 10 cents for condition notes and be done with it. With gaming cards like Pokemon, Magic, YuGiOh, they just process the non-mint cards and note "play wear". No drama. No extra fees. It works fine. It would be nice if they could just have some nondescript indicator like "minor flaws" or just "flaws" for all but the most egregious problems. Maybe when you submit the cards you can opt either to pay 5 or 10 cents extra for condition notes, or to have flawed cards returned to you and that would be that. |

I like the bust picture they have up but it's even better that they are using a fake topps dual auto

How do you submit an E card to become a real card?

From the Upper Deck ePack site, go to "My Collection" "Transfer Cart" - there is an icon in the upper corner of a card with an arrow sticking out of it. Click that. "Send my cards to COMC" The physical card is already in the COMC warehouse. If you opt to have it shipped to you, it will be shipped by COMC. If you opt to have it added to your COMC inventory, then you can do the same thing you normally do with COMC inventory - price it and try to sell it, add it to a shipment, mark it "Not For Sale", etc. |

Of course,12 items go live and 5 of them are the incorrect card description.
Then 2 more have condition notes which I cannot pick out in the scan. Have noticed though that the notes do not seem to be hurting sales as bad as they used too. |

The condition notes are very weird. I've bought some before and when I get the card in hand I find them fine. Some things are barely noticeable.
Others you buy without condition notes and the come with white corners, etc. I find that they frequently miss the 'autograph' or sometimes even memorabilia tag, which really hurts your attempt to sell them. I search almost exclusively for autographs, so if something isn't tagged as such I don't see it.

I used to skip right over the cards with condition notes, but lately I have been buying them like crazy if they're heavily discounted compared to the others.
Seeing how many of the cards I submit that get condition notes despite being NMT-MT has made me realize most these "condition note" cards aren't that bad. |

On the other hand, I've submitted several cards with slight dings or soft corners under the Select category, certain that because of that they would get bumped up there from Basic anyhow, and they've been posted without any note whatsoever.

My auto-accept at COMC is at 60% of asking price. Have fun! It is easier/less expensive for me to send cards to COMC than to ship across the border, so if you're interested in something I've posted, ask and I'll include it in my submissions! |

USPS seems to have great service to Redmond. Two times in a row that my Saturday Morning shipment from TN is received in the PNW on Monday morning.
